It’s for Real This Time: Jason Kidd Is a Maverick

by Marcel Mutoni

Our long national nightmare is over: Jason Kidd has finally been traded to the Mavericks.

Thirteen years after winning the co-rookie of the year (he shared the award with Grant Hill), Kidd makes his return to Dallas.

There really isn’t a whole lot to add here – I think it’s fair to say that we’ve beaten the news into the ground enough.

Jason’s first game with his new team could be as soon as tomorrow night in New Orleans, where he’d be going up against point guard extraordinaire Chris Paul. Yeesh. Welcome back to the West, Kidd.
