The LA Clippers made quick work of a salty Mark Cuban and his visiting Dallas Mavericks, sending them away with a 104-88 beatdown Thursday night.
In just 26 minutes of work, Blake Griffin finished with 26 points and ten boards, and the Clips enjoyed the final laugh.

No comment from Chris Paul on Cuban's comments. "He has my number. He used to call me all the time when he wanted me to come to Dallas."

Doc won't get into a war of words with Cuban. He smiles when told his quote and says, "That's hurtful."

The Mavs were held to just 36 percent shooting in the loss.
Per the OC Register:
âLook, the Clippers are the Clippers,â Cuban said, a smirk crawling across his face. âYou can change the players; you can change the owner, but the Clippers are who theyâve been for the past 30 years.â […] âI donât hate the Clippers. Thatâs the wrong word. I donât hate anyone on the Clippers,â he said. âI pretty much hate anybody that doesnât have Dallas or Mavericks across their chest. Again, I just donât give a (expletive) about the Clippers.â
DeAndre Jordan, the principle party responsible for the Clippers-Mavericks feud, was at the center of the gameâs top conflict, catching Dirk Nowitzki with an elbow in the post before Nowitzki retaliated with a hard foul. […] Jordan responded by repeatedly flexing his muscles in Dallasâ direction, something the Clippers were doing most of the night.
Pregame in a switcharoo, Doc Rivers played defense for Jordan, backing his centerâs actions over the summer. […] And the Clippers rewarded their coach with a well-executed performance on the floor, which they hope will speak louder than any words.
