    I still truly believe that if a team built a team around Amare like phoenix should he wouldn’t be hearing all the stuff he does now about his game. He never has had a legit chance to play defense with all the weak defenders the Suns put around him. He is way too talented for the Suns to be acting the way they do about him. He is there best chance for success in the future. The Suns management is just too dumb to realize this.

    When I found myself complaining that Amare was in the FreeDarko book and Dwight wasn’t, that’s when I knew he didn’t have my attention anymore.

    That sad sack of a season he put in last year in Shaw’s shadow didn’t help either.

    On the other hand, JESSEG has a point. Amare is a bad defender because great coaches like D’Antoni never really trained for defense.
