Merry Xmas, Sneakerheads

Other details of the KD III signature shoe include five lightening bolts on the outsole to represent his team, piano keys near the heel and midfoot of the outsole representing KD’s love of music and the BF62 repeat pattern on the outsole is a nod to the game where KD put up 62 points at Barry Farms in his home town of DC.

    CHRISTmas people.

  • http://www.slamonline.com Eboy

If you swap out the laces in the Bron’s, they’re the only pair a human being would want to wear in public.

  • http://www.bulls.com Enigmatic

Yeah, LeBron’s would be dope with either black, white or red laces. With the green though??

  • ionmic

I Love the Kobe’s, Now he gets to play the Grinch who steals Bron and wades XMAS!

  • rob stewart

The Kobe’s are the best looking ones

  • http://www.youtube.com/user/Uncle05Sam Earl

I think the LeBrons look the best.

  • Blackphantom

Kobe’s got the Grinch colors, i like that

  • Blackphantom

lol imagine how much you’d have to coordinate with the Christmas Kobe just to wear them in public and be accepted among your homeboys

  • http://www.slamonline.com Eboy

Am I the only one that thinks KD’s shoe would go well with an Easter parade ensemble?

  • Blackphantom

You aren’t the only one Eboy, now that I think about they would be good for Easter

  • VcO

Lol at the Kobe slurpers. I wouldn’t wear those in the daytime.

  • http://slam.online iwaggs

The kobe shoe is to bright but there ok

  • Blackphantom

dang all because someone says they like a shoe doesn’t mean they’re a slurper, I’m a Kobe fan, yes but that doesn’t I’m a slurper and I’m blinded, if he plays a bad game, I’m gonna say it, I like all these shoes I mean gosh, all because I say I like hi shoe I’ma slurper?

  • Blackphantom

*but that doesn’t mean I’m a slurper and I’m blinded

  • price

kobes is siiick. looks like fluorescent snake skin.

Yellow KD’s look better then the black ones.

King’s shoe are dope regardless, I’d just replace the laces if I were to get em.

  • Flight

I don’t understand how Durant’s kicks are only $88 beans.

  • http://www.slamonline.com Clyde

@ Earl. Word, enough of the “X-mas”.

  • Blackphantom

I know right, I hate that whole X-mas thing too

  • Jackie Moon

    Merry mas!

  • ansonpanson

    Happy holidays! just trollin

  • Blasphemy

Excuse me for living under a rock for an eternity. But whats wrong with saying, X-Mas?
Is it because its one letter away from saying X-man? I must know.

  • http://thetroyblog.com Teddy-the-Bear

    trololol?

  • http://all33sports.blogspot.com layOFFtheHATERADE

those r AWESOME!! gimme a pair!

  • Blackphantom

@Blasphemy it’s blocking out a part of Jesus’ name, I’m not a Christian but I don’t think that’s not right to do, but yeah the most safest way to do it is just saying Happy Holidays

  • Galagu

I don’t even let my kids say the letter “X”…at night we stay up and play christ-box…when they break a bone they go to the doctor and get christ-rays

  • Blackphantom

    lol @Galagu

  • Bimmer

Slamonline commentators never fail to amuse me. The reason people spell it Xmas is because the Greek letter for c looks like an X. And people have been shortening Christ’s name since the 13th century. They shortened it to save money on books since typing out Christ is much longer and wastes more ink than just typing an X. If you knew anything about the Xian heritage you claim to be a part of, then you would not be offended by Xmas. Jesus.

  • rashado

    Bimmer FTW

  • http://www.slamonline.com J

Yeah aside from the laces, Lebron’s looks nice.

  • gregor

…Ugh. The LeBron’s look alright, but the other two, the less said the better.

  • http://thephotoriot.com davidR

    galagu & bimmer

  • hendry

isit just me or the new kobe’s look like running shoes?

  • Hambone

kd really needs a decent shoe.

  • http://www.slamonline.com melvin ely

@Galagu: Stephen Colbert called, he’d like his royalties for that comment.

  • http://twitter.com/BeezKneezy LA Huey

Jordan Brand are doing Melo and Wade dirty by not giving them hyped up colorways for Christmas Day. And since Kobe’s kicks are obviously Grinch, it’d be funny if the Lake Show gets blown out.

  • http://slamonline.com Allenp

To be honest, $88 isn’t that horrible in today’s market. It’s a shame, but it’s true.

  • http://www.slamonline.com J

    * Oh, there’s actually a black laces included in that Lebron’s so just in case you want to wear it aside from Christmas. The green laces are actually a request of Bron himself.

  • http://www.slamonline.com Jahmai

I hope the Heat will wear those red uni’s for X-mas, They would match perfect with LeBron’s kicks.

  • kriz

    kobes could not be uglier
