Slamadaday: Nicolas Batum on Pau Gasol

Some Lakers have a way of welcoming rookies to the League. Pau Gasol, well, he welcomes rookies a bit differently.

    Gasol was just out of position on a broken play – It wasn’t like he had time to get set or jump – otherwise homeboy would be eating Spalding for a week.

    It was just an “OK” dunk. I can think of better ones that happened this weekend. The commentators in this one bug me, though…are they calling a basketball game or a PGA Tournament?

    Oh Ryne, remember last playoffs where they started doing the Matrix type slow-Mo’s for cool plays? In the stark, kinda overpainted colours? That was gangsta!

    Darksaber, I *do* remember that, but I have to admit, ESPN had it all wrong. To their credit, they sped the replay up a bit during the series. It was also the first time anyone had ever tried replaying footage in that quality. I’m definitely looking forward to what’s in store this April/May/June.
