Video: Halftime Entertainment Gone Wrong

Truly a death-defying act.

It turns out a halftime underwater escape captured fans’ attention far more effectively than the Thunder could on Jan. 16. Around 3:02 in the unedited video below, Kristen Johnson blacks out after having a hypoxic seizure from a lack of oxygen. Seeing a temporarily lifeless body may give bad vibes to some, so be aware before watching the clip.

    I was there that night – at first we thought it was part of the act. But then her husband kinda panicked before getting her out. One writer, who shall remain nameless, was CONVINCED it was fake, saying the NBA would never let something like that happen at a game. But I’m not so sure, it looks pretty real to me.

    it looked like she was having trouble from the beginning. glad shes ok, but if she wasnt it wouldnt be a tragedy like everyone would make it out to be. that is because this is a stupid thing to do, yea its a show and all but its just stupid.
