A year in the making. Can’t wait for this to come out in a month!

    looks good

  • Hursty Posted: Apr.13 at 11:09 am
Looks and sounds great. It doesn’t matter to me that its specifically about KB, I like it more as a coaching tool.
Thanks for posting this (Ryne?) slam.

Kobe talking about having better players and being more of a director makes me think about Dirk Diggler talking about blocking his own sex scenes. Phil Jackson kind of is Jack Horner if you think about it.

Insert predictable, unfunny Anton joke about Kobe and “white girls” or “Colorado” or “diamond rings” in 5 … 4 …3 … 2 …

  • DP Posted: Apr.13 at 12:19 pm
can’t believe eboy hasn’t come on here and dissed it to hell. good look though.

  • donlaker Posted: Apr.13 at 12:33 pm
    wow a kobe joint…….

  • Eboy Posted: Apr.13 at 12:44 pm
I’m just surprised that Spike didn’t do this with Lebron….he’d have a bigger audience, I think.

  • Cheryl Posted: Apr.13 at 12:48 pm
That’s next. Then Wade. Then CP3. He’s got a series going here, if he’s smart.

    “Eddy/Spike: Doin’ No Work”

  • Anton Posted: Apr.13 at 1:49 pm
Looks like an interesting, informative, behind-the-scenes look into the inside of 24’s game.
    Should be a great film…

    FOR ME TO POOP ON

Wow.. Now Kobe started working with Spike, hmm it becomes more and more obvious that he has a certain Teknoe song playing on repeat on his Ipod.

  • B. Long Posted: Apr.13 at 3:11 pm
I know what I’m doing on May 16th.

  • Allenp Posted: Apr.13 at 4:01 pm
i’m saying, did anybody else find it f(ucking hilarious that Kobe’s FIRST comment was explaining how he can make his teammates better WITHOUT passing them the ball?
For some reason that cracked me up. I’m not saying he didn’t make sense, but it’s just so funny that he made that point. I’m actually dying laughing right now.

  • Allenp Posted: Apr.13 at 4:05 pm
I hate ESPN, but I have to give them props for this, particularly if this is some sort of series. That would be awesome.

  • Josh D(Spurs Fan) Posted: Apr.13 at 4:49 pm
There’s something about that which makes me think the new Kobe still has a lot of the old Kobe left in him

  • karma Posted: Apr.13 at 6:42 pm
“i’m saying, did anybody else find it f(ucking hilarious that Kobe’s FIRST comment was explaining how he can make his teammates better WITHOUT passing them the ball?” He’s made that comment before…in another interview, I think with Stephan A. Same with the “35-40 points” line..you need to stop knocking the guy…what he’s saying does make sense. Being a team player doesnt just mean passing them the ball…if that was the case, Stephon Marbury or any starting pg would be the great team players..I’m a fan of dude, so I think this will be a cool documentary…but 3 of the things he says in that preview, I’ve already heard from other interviews.

  • tealish Posted: Apr.13 at 6:44 pm
@Allenp I noticed it too, but he said it (was told to say?) well so it went over alright imo.
@JackieMoon Anton’s kobe/colorado jokes while predictable, ARE actually funny!

    Kobe for MVP!!!

  • Zee! Posted: Apr.13 at 7:24 pm
When is the Souljah Boy documentary coming out? YEEEEAAAHHHHHH!!!!

  • Sarah Posted: Apr.13 at 7:27 pm
This looks interesting… but I don’t know if I can take over an hour of Kobe just talking.

  • karan Posted: Apr.13 at 9:01 pm
looks very similar to the documentary made on zinedine zidane.
except the zidane movie was filled with gay french music instead of someone talking.

  • Teddy-the-Bear Posted: Apr.13 at 9:43 pm
The best game in the world.

  • Teddy-the-Bear Posted: Apr.13 at 9:44 pm
I just had to pause and say that. I repeat:
BASKETBALL IS THE BEST GAME IN THE WORLD.

  • Joey E. Posted: Apr.14 at 2:16 am
    Kobe’s a cool dude

  • nba-jersey-king Posted: Apr.14 at 6:39 am
Yeah it would be good if Spike did a whole series of these on players like Lebron, Wade, CP3. Not on Duncan though - he wouldnt say anything. Other players like Nate Rob, Artest, Rafer Alston, Shaq, Dwight and Arenas would be good to hear as well.

  • Moose Posted: Apr.14 at 6:40 am
Wait . . . wouldn’t Spike wanna make a documentary on, like, David Lee or Nate Robinson or something?

  • Kieran Posted: Apr.14 at 8:51 am
Karan the music for the Zidane film was done entirely by Scottish band Mogwai.
