Shaun, he of the surgically repaired knee, shocked everyone in the building last night — especially Pau — with this double-pump jam:

I cringed when I saw him fall. I’m always afraid for his knees. Somebody give the boy Creatine or something. Make him put on weight!

P.S His last name is spelled wrong in title. You wrote “Livingtson” when it’s “Livingston”

    Great for him.

Great dunk, but the landing was a bit scary. Hope he finds a home in Washington, finally.

That’s the first time I’ve cheered for a dunk against my favorite squad…maybe ever. Congrats to Shaun.

when i watched top the top 10 on NBA.com today i rewinded it back twice to make sure it was Shaun. I didn’t thought he still had it in him.

It’s pretty dope when you get to see a kid come back from a ‘career-ending’ injury and show he can still contribute significantly.

Do your thing, Shaun! I think the “powers that be” should consider this for SLAMADAMONTH.

  • Michael Scorn

What a long road back. I’m so happy for him.

guess that knee is just good enough to give gasol the business, congrats on recovery

Missu, I cringed when he fell too. I bet his heart skipped a beat or two when he landed like that.

I love this kid’s heart. HE’S TOUGH. Jeremy Tyler needs to hang with Shaun Livingston. This kid goes from one of the worst injuries in the history of professional sports, all kinds of rehab, MENTAL ANGUISH, people telling him he can no longer do what he loves to do, 10 day contracts… I hope Livingston makes it more than anyone I’ve ever hoped for in the League.

  • Teddy-the-Bear

I was happy to see Shaun STARTING for the Wizards. Awesome!

I didn’t even know he was athletic to begin with, not being funny. Every time I tuned into a Clippers game back in the day, he was never playing. Good to see he’s not only back in the league, but not scared of contact.

  • Groves

    Good Job Shaun

  • Sporting-Lisbon-Blazers

    were all rooting for him!

  • Ken

That made my day. Do your thing, Shaun!

  • Yesse

Wow Heat and Grizzlies didnt want him because of the injuries. I bet they regret now.

  • http://www.ballislife.com Arek

    really happy for him

  • ktokyo

Nice. I think I’m pretty much echoing the sentiment here when I say it’s just good to see him playing.

  • tbizzle!

im pulling for this kid. even though i dont get to see him throw those mind boggling dimes as much…keep on pushing shaun!

  • JoeMaMa

Half these comments read like a crowd cheering on the little engine that could. And you know…that’s nice. The peanut gallery comes through.

Decent dunk, more disappointed in Pau’s lack of defense. He got out of the way and then just kind of reached for the ball once Livingston got by him. I’d prefer that he stayed his ground, went straight up and got a facial rather than this moving out of the way mess

  • dogg

yeah baby! it is so nice to see that young man keeping at it, pursuing the dream, never giving up
