    HOLY SHIT!!!!!!

  • http://slamonline.com/ Ryne Nelson

Ouch! Fear the Deer no longer… Hindsight’s 20/20, but Bogut should’ve held onto the rim.

  • http://slamonline.com/ Ryne Nelson

… and I believe that’s his shooting elbow.

  • http://philaflava.blogspot.com Teddy-the-Bear

Ouch… Best wishes to Andrew Bogut and a quick and safe recovery.
I also feel bad for the Bucks/Bucks fans, because he is their best player, MVP, and leader.

Ouch….I was rooting for the bucks this year to get well soon big Drew.

  • http://www.euroleagueadventures.com Nick Gibson

This won’t help the Bucks warm to the idea of Andrew playing for Australia this summer. This is Livingston/McGahee bad.

  • http://www.hibachi20.blogspot.com Hursty

Ryne, he slipped off the ring. He knew Amar’e was there, and would’ve held on until Stat jogged by him.
Hopefully this isn’t a long-term injury ala Shaun, Amare.
Dude elbow went round the world like Livingstone’s knee.

Bucks’ fans are having flashbacks to TJ Ford. they’ve got some terrible luck.

  • wannacookie?

Andrew Bogut is the Bucks’ best player? What?!

  • Ozrock

what about amare’s push in the back, can dish it out but cant cop it, pretty weak pushing someone in the back

  • Lazaruz

omg. far out. he was playing like best centre in league as well. this is such bad news.

  • http://Www.b-ballistics.com Darksaber

Goshdarnit STAT! What the hell? I am really starting to hate that Stoudemire douche. Hope it’s not as terrible as it looks, Andrew has been very good since late Dec.

  • dude

amare barely grazed him. for a full speed sprint down the court, the lack of contact surprised me. it’s called momentum folks. that was just really unfortunate and not to mention disgusting. ouchie.

  • http://www.twitter.com/retepadam Peter Nygaard

Somewhere, Shaun Livingston’s just shaking his head.

  • Dillan

    Amare! Doin Work!

i recall Dahntay Jones doing the same on Kobe.

  • zabba

Amare made very little contact, and when Bogut was hanging on the rim Amare made no contact at all. Look at the last reply, it’s in slow mo and Amare is no where NEAR Bogut while he oscillates.

  • zabba

    *last replay, not reply, haha.

  • blah

i’m sad to say this, but it is entirely’s bogut’s own fault by not hanging onto e rim.. amare didnt make any contact

  • http://www.hibachi20.blogspot.com Hursty

I can’t believe you guys are seriously accusing Amar’e here. He barely touched Bogut, incidental contact at best. I’ve thrown down dunks exactly the same way as Bogut did, and slipped off the ring exactly the same way, half a dozen times. He just fell awkwardly. That’s IT.
Could’ve happened to me, you, or anyone else. Sh*t happens, I truly doubt Andrew holds any malice towards Stat for that.
Remember Birdman’s dunk a few seasons ago where he basically flipped himself over the ring and fell down? Same sh*t, same fall. Just happened that Bogut’s arm was caught in an awkward spot.

I know Stoudemire has a bad rep for little things like that, but seriously guys? Even the force Amar’e would’ve generated from the ‘contact’ – I refuse to call it a ‘PUSH’ wouldn’t have been enough to dislodge Bogut from the ring. His momentum going forwards and up was already enough.

I feel sorry for Andrew, I really do. But blaming Amar’e solely for that injury is just wrong.

  • http://nba.com ninja cool

This completely erases Shaun Livingston’s injury from my memory. Eeeeyowwww!

  • barnabusb

  • ab_40

ouch that elbow popped out of it’s socket. that’s just bad and it isn’t just amare’s fault but he had his arms out so he’s gonna get some of the blame, he didn’t push him but he gave him extra momentum. but man that’s ony nasty fall. Milwauke their season just ended and ninja cool that shaun livingston injury. but let’s not start the nasty injury thread hehe.

  • Ronald

If you guys look at the slow motion in the 2nd angle you guys can notice that basically Amar’e's forearm had NOTHING to do with the incident. True, he had his arm on his back on the way up, but there wasn’t any extension of his forearm. And most of the time you see that players put their forearms on people going up for a dunk/layup no matter the situation.

  • Ronald

And thank god its an arm and not a knee. Hope you recover fast Boges.

  • vmcb

This makes me feel pretty awful. Hopefully he makes a full and speedy recovery. Dude’s had some bad luck with injuries lately. Twitter was blowing up last night after this happened.

  • Shem

Bogut is by far their best player. It ain’t Jennings or Salmons and it definetly ain’t Redd or Mbah a Moute so.. get well soon Drew

  • http://dsfjklf.com Jukai

I was waiting to see how long it took for Amare to get the blame for this. It’s disgraceful he even got a technical.

  • Michael Scorn

At least he didn’t get a technical foul for hanging on the rim.

  • Me

hes not the best player but one of the more important players on the team

  • http://dsfjklf.com Jukai

That’s his non-shooting elbow right? Isn’t he left handed? If that’s the case, he’ll probably make a full recovery. I hope!

  • The Philosopher

    Shout out to Terry Davis.

  • shout out

shout outs to bogut and da’sean butler from WV. 2 important players to their teams. sad to see seasons ending like that.

@Shern how is Redd not their best player? lmao.. jump off Bo’s nuts.

anyway this sad to see his season end.. but good thing for the C’s!!!

  • rish

Dammit, Carlos. Why make that pass!!!!!

  • Ken

Yeah, I really don’t think Amare caused that. Bogut just had real bad luck slipping off the rim. Oh, and I definitely think Bogut is the Buck’s best player.

  • Rob

man this sucks, the Bucks were playing so good and Bogut was a big part of their success. I don’t know if Bogut is their best player, but if someone thinks so I got no problem with it.

  • Jim

Well at least he got the basket…

  • http://slamonline.com Adam Fleischer

Sucks so much for him and the Bucks. Both were playing so well. Still a solid team, but that’s a season ending loss in more ways than one.

  • big easy

man that really sucks. All these Bucks fans’ comment are reminescent of how us Blazer fans felt when Greg Oden went down with his injury after playing so well. Except Bogut means more to the Bucks right now than Oden does to us this season. Wish a quick and full recovery for him.

  • underdog

how is bogut not the buck’s best player?
he and DWIGHT HOWARD are the only players averaging 15+/10+/2+blocks

i was rooting for the bucks. It sucks so much for the buck’s fans.

  • http://250aspirin.blogspot.com DJ Leon Smith

Bogut is CLEARLY the best player on the Bucks. Do people forget that you play basketball at both ends of the court? I guess not, which is how David Lee was named an all-star over him.

  • Stillballin

He didn’t hold the rim strong enough..it’s not amare’s Fault..sorry to see that Andrew..

  • Lazaruz

    @ jukai.

bogut is right handed, he prefers to go left in the post though. he shoots his frees and jump shots all right hand.

@ me. oh no. he is more than important to the bucks. he is the bucks! i would prefer a healthy bogut over dwight howard any day.

  • Lazaruz

Biggest bonus of Bogut is he’s an unbelievable passer out of the double/triple-team in fact best court vision out of any center (and big not named Kevin Love) on the other hand Dwight is a little bit turn over prone when he gets a post up on the block and a double comes. He can also handle the ball very well for a 7 footer, being able to blow by his defenders, again Dwight doesn’t really have much of this in his repertoire. Bogut is equally good with either hand around the ring, people often think he’s a left hander. His post moves have always been good but second half of this season he’s actually exploiting them, I’m putting it out there… Bogut has McHale-esque footwork. Bogut can hit the 18 footer. Bogut also is very skilled and creative in sealing his man and creating space for himself, this however is Dwights biggest strength and why he can score as much as he can. Dwight has the edge on the open court in he can run it quicker than (maybe) any center and then is great in sealing his man right under the ring for the nice look, Bogut is good at this as well but Dwight is better. Defensively Bogut is very smart and hardly bites on fakes, he is a very good man on man defender being able to bang with anyone and has the length to disrupt many shots. His help side defense has very much improved this season as well, as seen with his rapid increase in bpg (from 1 to 2.5). Dwight also has all these strengths Bogut has (+ is reigning dpy), so I’ll give the edge to Dwight.

Take what you want from that but in the end I don’t think Milwaukee would be any better what so ever if Dwight took places with Bogut.

  • Lazaruz

^my case why bogut better than dwight :(

  • http://dsfjklf.com Jukai

@ Lazaruz: your Bogut over Howard rant aside, I’m quite upset to hear that Bogut is right-handed… he always attacks with his left but I guess that’s habit. This actually could effect his career, although everything is elbow or below and not the shoulder… but he severely sprained his wrist, which could have long lasting implications. Not should what a dislocated elbow will do, but that doesn’t sound good either.

  • http://slamonline.com Krishan

Co-sign jukai, thought he was left handed too. Always saying how his hook shot is almost unstoppable cause he’s a leftie, lol. Got a dislocated elbow once, but as long as no tendons or ligaments tear, and no fractures it should heal alright. It’s downright disappointing, he was having one hell of a season too. Fear the deer no more.

@Hursty +1 damn, i just hope for a complete recovery for Bogut.

  • Randy Brown

    Near-vomit there, that was horrid

  • http://missjia.com meloMan2.0

Amare did not cause this… but its still sucks fro Bogut

  • http://www.hibachi20.blogspot.com Hursty

Lazaruz has the right of it. Bogut’s vision and near ambideterous skill-set is all-nba amongst centres.
    @J, thanks.

  • heartlandG

    Where’s tha video!

  • LA Huey

    Get well soon, Bogs.

  • http://www.hibachi20.blogspot.com Hursty

RT @AndrewMBogut: @Amareisreal should not take any blame. It was a freak of a thing that happend. Full stop. Amare is a good sport.

  • vtrobot

anyone who says that he fell because STAT pushed him lacks sight.

  • Dtown

No.. anybody who said Bo is better than DH12 lacks sight lmao

  • underdog

Man, that was a baaad idea. Hope he’s going to be all right soon!

  • vtrobot

this is really unfortunate for him and the team and the fans. that team was rolling. i would have rather seen the C’s lose a battle of a series to MIL than win one because of injuries like this. looking less likely that the C’s and MIL will even face each other in the first round. get better, bogut.

  • Mr. Robinson

    Bogut’s a racist.

  • doyouwantmore

Aw, man. Poor guy. Praying for a 100% recovery, Andrew!

  • Taisen

what the hell was he thinking ?

  • Taisen

    what a goofy looking dunker

  • Jacob (from Australia)

Reminds me of the scene in The Hangover where Alan tells the guys in the car why he’s still single except it would go more like this:

    Everyone watching youtube clip:

Tiny white guy – “See, that’s why I don’t dunk when playing basketball.”

Friend – “Oh really? That’s why you don’t dunk?… Good to know.”
