Video: LeBron James’ Cavs Jersey Burned

I can’t confirm or deny if Dan Gilbert took part in any jersey burning last night, but I’d like to think he did:

  • peter Posted: Jul.9 at 11:02 am
Is there some sort of athelete school that teaches these guys to talk in the third person?

  • LD Posted: Jul.9 at 11:06 am
For a city that is worried about their economy, burning clothes should not be the first thing they do.

  • marc Posted: Jul.9 at 11:21 am
    lmao @peter

  • Maurice Bobb Posted: Jul.9 at 11:53 am
@peter He learned from Rickey Henderson.

  • loaf Posted: Jul.9 at 11:53 am
for such an amazing talent, he is a bit of an idiot?

  • Sonicproof Posted: Jul.9 at 12:10 pm
He has people telling him what to say. When you have money you can by you people to do all kinds of things for ya.

  • JACO Posted: Jul.9 at 12:38 pm
He didnt show it but he was heartbroken and crying on the inside

  • JACO Posted: Jul.9 at 12:41 pm
and btw was I the only one waiting for him to start crying when he was going to say goodbye to cleveland?

  • LD Posted: Jul.9 at 12:46 pm
LOL, burning LeBron’s jersey just celebrates the fact that he plays for the heat!

  • william syms Posted: Jul.9 at 12:53 pm
He pulled a stacy patton on you all, ” Lebron James is going to do what make him happy”

  • The Black Rick Kamla Posted: Jul.9 at 1:01 pm
    @LD EXACTLY!!! hahha,

  • mj23 Posted: Jul.9 at 1:09 pm
i hate it when athletes speak about themselves in the third person. Also, Lebron says D-wade “axed” him to join him in Miami.

  • Jose Posted: Jul.9 at 1:52 pm
@ JACO. I was. You Could Tell he Was bleeding on the inside so bad. You could tell it from that dudes eyes, he was heartbroken, but he choose wat he wanted to do…i i may be the only one but i feel bad for lebron (at least at that moment)

  • AJBALLER Posted: Jul.9 at 3:12 pm
    lebron wants to win

  • AJBALLER Posted: Jul.9 at 3:13 pm
but i beleive he can win in chicago 2

  • Zee! Posted: Jul.9 at 4:02 pm
Michael Jordan would have wanted to kick Dwyane Wade’s butt every spring, not play with him. This should be mentioned every day for the rest of LeBron’s career. It’s also the kryptonite for any “Some day we’ll remember LeBron James as the best basketball player ever” argument. We will not. Jordan and Russell were the greatest players of all time. Neither of them would have made the choice that LeBron did last night. That should tell you something. – An excerpt from a great article by Bill Simmons

Hey zee u forgot to mention kobe. What’s funny is kobe couldve done the same thing.

  • Badnewzballer Posted: Jul.9 at 4:28 pm

  • John Posted: Jul.9 at 4:30 pm
It looked like his eyes where a little watery lol

  • The Fresh Prince of Nsam Posted: Jul.9 at 4:30 pm
@Zee: Why is everyone supposed to do the way MJ did?

  • AJBALLER Posted: Jul.9 at 4:50 pm
@ZEE but y would lebron stay in clevland cus he had nobody there and MJ had somebody in chicago so its different

  • riggs Posted: Jul.9 at 5:07 pm
    because MJ set the bar.

  • truthteller Posted: Jul.9 at 5:09 pm
    Haaaaaaaaaa!!!!!

  • TRUTH SYRUP Posted: Jul.9 at 5:47 pm
LOL WHY DOES LEBRON REFER TO HIMSELF IN 3RD PERSON

  • fabio Posted: Jul.9 at 7:45 pm
    lmao, poor cleveland.
but hey, he gave you guys 7 years,
at least be happy for that, but im sure its easier said than done, i would have been pissed too…
either way, with amare to the knicks, and booze with chicago, hopefully the east will be more powerful from top to bottom.

Wait, so he WASN’T humbled by this?

  • Flash Posted: Jul.10 at 9:46 am
James jersey on fire couldn’t have said it any better. Since he’ll be donning the heat jersey the next 6 years! :)

  • anony mous Posted: Jul.10 at 12:33 pm
lol @ Anton “I’m gonna continue to be great”. What an egotistical ass.

  • anony mous Posted: Jul.10 at 12:33 pm
hmmm meant to separate those two thoughts.

  • Eduardo Posted: Jul.10 at 12:59 pm
LeBron said it’s all about Family in the Heat announcement. The Heat only have 3 players? 3 Players in their Fam? Lebron had a hole city in his Fam prior to this. I’m a big LBJ fan and respect the reasons why, but feel so sorry for the people in Cleveland.

  • DennisBlandford Posted: Jul.10 at 4:50 pm
“i’m gonna continue to be great” that was too funny still rolling on the ground about that one.Was waiting for a real idiotic zinger from him and finally there it was !

  • Jake Posted: Jul.10 at 5:44 pm
“Continue to be great”. More like continue to be a conceited, self absorbed(redundant I know) a$$hole.
