    But Ive been told many times that rose is the only pg with this kind of athleticism. How can this be? U mean, (gasp) the roseslurpers might be wrong? They might be overrating him? Nah. They told me they werent overrating him. Rose is def best pg and mvp candidate.

    Cooper, just cause Deron can dunk doesn’t mean he’s as athletic as Rose. I’m a fan since his Illinos days and even I can admitt that he’s not as fast and not as athletic as Rose. He’s a better true point and outside shooter though. And Rose can be an MVP candidate…that doesn’t mean Williams can’t be one too.

    Diesel, rose is a slightly better athlete, but thats it. Deron is much better in every aspect of the game. Rose is no where near mvp level, or even candidate status.

    I’m not saying they will, but if the Bulls somehow make it to the ECF and Rose is leading the way, you wouldn’t put him in the conversation?

    He turns over the ball a little to much to be a true MVP candidate. And he’s not a great perimeter defender as of yet.Boozer’s arrival might boost his assist stat line but with no consistent jumpshot he’s just trying to be RONDO!!!!!!

    @tarzan, drose is not just “slightly” more athletic than dwill. faster, better hops and probably better endurance but i’ll give the strength to deron. as far as mvp goes, its way too early to even speculate. did anyone really think durant would wind up a candidate at the beginning of last year? if they do go to ECF then why not? OKC didnt even get out of the first round

    Steve nash is not a good defender, but until you watch Jose Calderon, you have no idea how bad perimeter defense can get.
