    That is a very nice skill set for a young big man. Very good handle and smoothness, shot is ugly but its going in – at least right now. Those blocks are kinda irrelevant long term, due to the kids he’s is playing against, but you absolutely can not deny this young fella’s game. Would be cool if Perry Jones sticks around, and LaceDarius (SERIOUSLY???) acts like a man.

    for all you guys saying marcus camby what are you smokin?! haha. Camby didn’t have half Austins Skillset. Camby was a great defender and athletic as can be. Austin has more of a skillset like Dirk. The kid is 7’1 16 years old and hasn’t even hit his junior year of basketball yet. I like the “next gen” though

    I like how his game is coming along. He is ONLY 16, and I think he’ll be doing very well for himself in the years to come. He used to be soft as charmin, but hes only a KID!

    I’d hate to see him 50 pounds and a low block game later. BUT, before he reaches that “citywide” love, he needs to dominate the circuit like L.Aldridge, D. Arthur, C.Bosh, K. Martin, before him, cuz in DALLAS, nobody is scared of him, but he’s on the right path!

    Very humble and talented, has a great father leading him as well.
