Video: Stephen Curry Re-Injures Ankle

Eric Gordon’s crossover was filthy, but Steph was playing the Blake Griffin’s screen more than he was guarding EG. Here’s hoping for a quick recovery.

    dang… sdot curry man hopefully you heal well from this. probably would be a grade 2 angle sprain but since he sprained it last wk its definitely a high grade ankle sprain… take 2 wks off steph its 4 the best.

    @ Mitya: Co-sign. i’ve had bad sprains happen to me[both ankles, numerous times], and seeing that makes me cringe lol.

    It wasn’t really the cross that did it.. if you look closely he kinda snagged his foot on Griffin when he was tryin to side step…

    Yeah, I still dont trust the Kobe Zoom V’s. Low-tops just leave you to exposed.

    Thats not the worst ankle injury, Ginobili had a much nastier. The ankle is weak, so any little touch, and he sprained again.

    He was actually wearing Hyperdunk 2010s, which are a higher cut than the Kobe Vs.

    It was the filthy crossover by EG that broke dude’s ankle not BG’s foot.

    @Wes Oh you are right, my B. I suppose his injury had more to do with the awkward way he hit Griffin’s foot than the cut of his shoe. With that said I’m still surprised that player’s opt to wear the Zoom V’s. The Hyperdunks are solid though (http://twitpic.com/12v0sd)

    Blake didn’t cause him to twist his ankle he landed on the floor and twisted not on top of Griffins foot

    I would say the cross and him trying to jump the screen are what caused his ankle to roll. He did not roll it on BG’s foot.

    Sidenote: Anyone notice how Eric Gordon kinda jumps backwards on his jumpshot? Its weird looking.
