Video: JR Smith With a 360 Degree Layup

Given the game situation, this was completely unnecessary. And of course, completely awesome:

Dope! Just wish JR would cut down on his usual stupid crap and antics on the floor.

That did look great, but do people really intentionally do 360 layups? This is at least JR’s second and Nick Young did one a couple of weeks ago.

Wow… That wasn’t just a 360, that was a SPIN MOVE in the air to dodge Timmy… I don’t think I’ve ever seen anything like that in a basketball game before. Not as a REAL move.

dude is so talented…wish he had the focus of an all-star though

JR’s highlight reels keep him relevant and his job secure, but probably piss Karl off enough to want to keep him on the bench. A standoff for sure, but JR +1.

Teddy, vince has done it a few times as an actual move. And in more difficult ways….

  • Nathan

That is the wierdest fin music they have playing for this highlight. Nice move tho!

I wouldn’t say it was unnecessary at all. Actually, it was plenty more necessary than many other spectacular finishes that come to mind. He avoided Duncan altogether with that spin and had an uninterfered path after the spin.
    Well done.
