Video: Brad Miller’s Terrible Late-Game Antics

Something must’ve been bothering Brad Miller late during last night’s game against the Suns, because in just the last 30 seconds of the fourth quarter, the Rockets center’s line included one turnover, one almost-turnover, and one terribly missed buzzer-beating attempt. Witness the ugliness above.

    Not surprised.
He choked on free throws in the Playoffs badly.
He really gets lost in the clutch.

    Just, wow.

  • Jacqueline Mitchell

    Dang Brad.

Well, as we all know from the Heat, there is crying in basketball.

  • fruizm

hahaha he always makes that face…like when the heat beat the bulls in miami and dwade said “THIS IS MY HOUSE!”….brad miller was crying also haha.

  • Riggs

Congrats to Zach Randolph, you now have the 2nd most embarassing fail YouTube clip.

  • bails1

I hate admitting this but the guy has a knack for hitting big shots after he screws up so Im not suprised he took it. Air Bud was wide open in the corner.

In fairness to Brad, Lowry should have taken that shot, he was open. Counter-point: almost turning the ball over to Steve “I’m not bothering with steals” Nash is a bad show.

  • rob stewart

Does he have connections in Vegas or something?

  • robb

^^^ lol yeah, when you pass the ball and Nash gets the steal that’s when you say “man, do I suck tonight or what?”

  • dma

I think Brad Miller was sick of seeing Steve Nash’s tweets after losing games.

  • ClydeSays

Wow. I forgot Miller was still playing.

    Sh** happens.

  • http://www.sonicbids.com doyouwantmore

If that sequence happened in the middle of a game it wouldn’t be that big of a deal. It wasn’t that Brad Miller was that bad, it’s that he forgot how good Nash still is.

  • TheNightWatch*8*

    That Hurts.

  • Kyle

Miller may have missed some clutch free throws, but usually he’s one of the best passing big men ever(even when it counts.) Jesus, Nash is sneaky, but come on. He rarely goes for steals. That was bad.

  • Jer Bi

Thing that surprised me most is Nash missed a free throw and then played OK defense.

Ugh… Don’t remind me. Come on Brad, you’re way better than this.
Miller had an off night, but he’s usually been an ace for the Rockets whenever they’ve needed it. And yeah, he’s still one of the best passing big men in the game.
The Rockets went for WAY too many dangerous back-door plays last night. Too many bad turnovers; they could have easily beaten Phoenix. Dammit.

  • randy anglin

Brad is still the guy I want shooting the ball at the end…or anytime! He had to put it up…there was no time left! Keep shooting Brad! You’re the MAN!

  • EGOT

I wonder if he cried afterwards.
