Video: Enes Kanter at Prep School

Could Kentucky have won it all with the help of Enes Kanter, who didn’t play last season because of eligibility issues? Judging from some new footage from the 6-10 big’s prep school days last year (courtesy of City League Hoops), he wouldn’t have hurt the Wildcats’ chances.

I mean, he is a “pro,” right?

  • andynorstrom

So basically, he’s Andrea Bargnani without a vagina

  • underKANTER

similar player to tim duncan/al horford.

hahahahaha…not impressive at all…i smell bust…doesn’t seem athletic enough, and for a “big” guy, all he was doing was shooting perimeter shots against kids 6 inches shorter…not impressive at all

@andynorstrom, Way to make me spit a piece of my sandwich on my keyboard ASSH*LE! ROFLOL

Yeah, I was hoping for a softer touch around the basket, I heard a lot of Kevin McHale comparisons, but Al Horford with a bit more range and without the explosiveness seems more apt.

Kentucky definitely could have used him.
What’s next though? Is he entering the draft? Is he playing in Europe?

  • Ansonpanson

    But can he play d?

  • onlyclipsfanonslam

IIRC he was the reason why the world won against last years prep stars at the nike hoops summit. He outshined Sullinger in that game

How does this ‘highlight’ reel prove that he would have helped Kentucky…

  • gol d roger

    beast. period

  • Atsushi

    He would have helped.

  • Groves

i like his stroke. but post moves against 6’6 guys doesn’t impress me to much, has to work on that touch around the hoop. good ball handling for a big guy, very mobile

  • Groves

his close to midrange shooting impresses me greatly

  • the truth

Anyone who watched him play in the Nike hoops summit last year knew he was a beast. Ate Sullinger’s lunch

Finally, there’s a big man who can shoot from the perimeter! Oh wait…

  • Ali Duyar
