Video: Mark Cuban and Drake Debate the Greatest NBA Team of All-Time

The newest 2K12 TV spot.

They were both featured in the longer TV ad, but now Mark Cuban and Drake face off one-on-one in the newest NBA 2K12 commercial, as the pair argue over who the greatest basketball team of all-time is. Drizzy thinks it’s the (current) Miami Heat, while you can probably guess who the Mavs owner believes it is…

    between those 2 teams…debating on either of them being the ‘best team ever’ is retarded. i know it’s just for a commercial to sell video games but come on! best team ever is either a celtics or lakers team, there’s no way around it.

    Did Drake just started watching the NBA last year? Love his music and the fact that he reps my hometown, but that was moronic. The 2001 Lakers, 96 Bulls or any of the 80s Celtics/Lakers would dust the floor off with this team. And as for the Heat not having reached their “prime” yet: this team is only going to be in their prime as long as both Lebron AND Wade are in theirs…and last I checked, one of the two is starting to get old, slowly but surely.

    “c’mon kid.” — Cubes wins this one. Drake must be a brain damaged jock-rider to pick the Heat. I know we got the good smoke in Toronto, but he’s smoking too much if he thinks the Heat are already the greatest. Sounds about as convincing as the boasting in his raps.

    Drake’s somewhat of an ok rapper, but he’s incredibly overrated by my peers. Plus he’s only a rapper, not enough MCs these days. When it comes to this commercial neither team belongs in the All-Time conversation.

    NBA 2k11 is better than NBA 2k12. Is it a strategy by 2k sports.Will NBA2k13 finally be the simulation we need?( my first video game purchase was nba live 95, 17 versions of nba games and they still cannot perfect it.)Why do i have the Warriors 91 and Kings 01 playbooks but no access to playing with the actual teams. I’ve completed all challenges, also the opposing teams hit EVERY 3 point shot, defense is impossible, quick plays ( ie why no pick and roll)are ineffective as my teammates just stand there, i’ve put backdoor cuts to 100 but they never do it. Setting a screen is impotent and my last gripe is you cannot put the all time greats onto one team. The only improvement is low post play.I want my money back.

    It just happens a lot of current mainstream cats also tend to be wack, but they’d be wack if they were mainstream, underground, or that dude on the corner with a sign saying “will rap for food”.
