Video: Javale McGee Gets Confused
Wrong way, Javale…
This is why Javale McGee is who he is. After missing a short runner, McGee hustles back on defense, lowering his head in frustration. Only one problem—the Wizards got the offensive rebound and were ready to re-start the offense. Too bad McGee had already run out of the picture. John Wall’s reaction is utterly priceless. Ahh, the Wizards!

1) McGee ran with so much determination.
2) Amir Johnson almost dashed all the way with him.
3) John Wall’s reaction.
All that talent and he wants to be good and works hard, but he might be dumb as bricks. And I hate saying that.
I really like mcgee but this was plain dumb.
its okay to go running to get back on d but after you pass the 3 point line just must realise your going the wrong way.
I think there is athletic talent and mental talent. One can be learned to a degree, the other cannot.
McGee’s best assets or that’s he still improving rapidly. People don’t remember how raw he was coming into the League after just one year of college at a small school. He’s improved a LOT, and it’s mainly been because of his hard work.
Wall attempting to force a lob to McGee afterwards was dumb!
That wasn’t called for at all. It’s 2012 let’s realize that even though we all are different colors, sizes, and shapes we are still one race.
I don’t know him personally but if someone said that the first thing I’ll assume he’s talking about is the performance of the wizards as basketball players, and frankly in that light comparing them to chimps is quite fitting.
You guys are talking like that scary @ss white kid at school always being uptight and sh*t “don’t say that that’s wrong” lol. Ease up I think the only people who find bike’s comments racist are the ones who think there are similarities between chimps and black folks, check yourselves.
If you know your history it goes from interesting to obviously racist. It’s not even a contest.
So, with that history in mind, the comment is clearly meant to be racist. There is no other reason to make the comment.
It’s like making a comment built around stereotypes about “money grubbing jews” or “drunk Irish”. But, I think people realize that. People aren’t ignorant of these stereotypes or their history. That’s why they laugh at these jokes. The only way the joke is “funny” is if you know the stereotype that underpins it. People just don’t want to change, so they find reasons to rationalize that decision.
