Video: Kevin Durant Sinks Game-Winner Against Mavs

KD, FTW.

Down 1 and with the ball, it was pretty obvious who OKC was going to. And although Shawn Marion was draped all over him, and the clock was ticking down toward 0.00, and any semblance of a structured play had broken down, and all signs were pointing to a relatively shocking Dallas upset, Kevin Durant floated up a jumper that bounced around the rim and finally dropped through the net, causing an eruption in the Chesapeake Energy Arena and a Game One victory for the Thunder.     Great game. The Mavs played well (esp. Jet who just loves those pressure games), Dirk was also very good down the stretch although he turned the ball over a few times. But I was really happy to see Harden back on the court and playing good basketball.

    Wow.. That was just incredible… :-| The release point was literally inches from being blocked!! Kevin Durant didn’t play well this game shooting around 10-30 but what counts is he got his team the bucket when it mattered most! GOOD GAMEEEE!!!

    Funny how KD is heralded for this shot and his poor overall shooting night is completedly forgotten, while Kobe woulb be blasted by all his haters for a night like this. Not to take anything away from KD, just sayin that everybody should be judged by the same standards…

    @kamikaze – I’m sorry when did I ever say that his poor shooting night was forgotten?I specifically said Kevin Durant DID NOT PLAY WELL, And the ONLY reason why Kobe gets hated on is because Durant will go 10-30 once in a blue moon Kobe does it on the regular!! -.- nobody is gonna cheer for a player that can’t hit the absurd amount of shotshe takes.. Secondly Kobe gets carried by his bigsDuant gets carried by nobody! He is they’re main go to guy.

    Great shot, nice game. Dallas should keep there heads up, if they can push OKC like that on there home court just a few more times then they will have a breakthrough for sure.

    Not the prettiest or most ideal but definitely not an “ill-advised shot”. Nice little “shooter’s bounce” there though.

    how was it an ill-advised shot when the game was on the line and they needed a shot? and they were losing? it maybe wasnt the greatest looking shot but dallas played some pretty tough D on that play.. lucky shot? somewhat.. but durant has made that little one handed shot from the foul area before

    who cares if it was an ugly shot…. Dirk’s classic fadeaway shot is pretty ugly too but nobody gives him heck for it with the game on the line

    I love the mavs and i like the thunder they are both my favorite teams but come on i think Durant’s shot was a little on the lucky side again both great teams and Durant is a great player but it was a lucky shot
