Video: JR Smith Throws Down a Double-Pump Windmill

JR’s crazy finish versus the Miami Heat.

New York Knicks fans watched helplessly as their team took one more depressing step towards a sweep at the hands of the Miami Heat, but JR Smith’s insane dunk did give them reason to smile, at least temporarily.

In the words of 50 cent…that was so so so disrespectful!

  • Niio

I always forget he has that type of athleticism because he doesn’t dunk too often he mostly just bombs away from outside! lol Nice to see he’s still got it though

  • LA Huey

    This was a nice flush.

  • Marc

that was nice. too bad it wasnt an 20 point dunk. lol

17 more of those, and the Knicks could’ve won!

    the potential this guy has/had.

top 15 talent, nbdl basketball iq and work ethic. jr smith could really be the third best sg in the league behind kobe and wade. no one else in the league has as much raw talent at the 2-spot, not even harden or joe johnson.

the lone happy moment I’ve experienced all series… thank you Jr

  • ChipS

He’s been the best player on the Knicks this series and almost the only one to show up, other than TC who was sick. Last night he didn’t shoot well but his defense on Wade and LBJ has been impressive, I mean he’s played both as well as I can remember anybody guarding them. People see him as just a scorer but don’t see the other things he brings.

JR is such a teaser. This guy could be one of the best shooting guards in the NBA. There isn’t anything he can’t do on a court.

wow slow clap for whoever said that jr is playing the best in the series. can you even say that? he is shooting like 20 percent, he turns the ball over like a 4th grader would, he doesnt pass the ball to novak enough and in general. his handle is sloppy and is a detriment to the ball movement and this team. and im from jerz got love for him but dude needs to be gone.thank god this joke is a one year rental

I know what i’m talking about! Watch and learn the game! How can he find Novak when the Heat are not leaving him? I watched a bunch of Knicks games this season and other then Lin he’s the best on the team at finding Novak. Tell me who’s been the most consistant on the Knicks this series? Not Melo, Not STAT, Not Baron, Not Landry, Who?. So before you sit back and tell me i’m wrong, go look at some tape and watch closely. JR is not the one you should point at and say he’s shooting 20 percent, its Melo! Of course he’s gonna shoot a low percentage when Baron takes a whole 10 seconds to get the ball up the court and then passes it with 6 seconds on the shot clock! Same with Melo! So why don’t you give yourself a slow clap and eat a power punch, then you can have a coke and a smile and stfu!

JR is the only Knick that can create off the dribble. He scares the crap out of me though. Knicks need a quality shooter in the starting lineup so Smith can come off the bench and only worry about scoring. When he has to be a playmaker, bad happenings occur.

@IAMORANGE4EVER yep, the man is so talented, unfortunately his mind is somewhere else.

He reminds me of Latrell Sprewell what with the insane athleticism and general insanity.

lol chips said “eat a power punch.” JR Smith has sloppy handles? How? He mixes everybody, although he has gotten used to doing the SAME step back move, it kills EVERYBODY.
