Video: Lance Stephenson Flashes ‘Choke’ Sign to LeBron James

The Pacers swingman taunts LBJ.




Taking a page out of former Pacers star Reggie Miller’s trash-talking playbook, Lance Stephenson pulled out the ol’ choking sign after LeBron James bricked a free throw last night. (Unlike Miller, though, Stephenson was only on the floor for all of one minute during the Game 3 win.)

    I just watched this several times, and to me, it doesn’t seem like this gesture was directed towards anybody else. I’m not inside of Lance’s head, but I think there’s a decent chance that Lance was just chilling with his arms around his neck. He gets so hyped on the bench, supports his teammates and is always engaged, so much that I honestly don’t even think Lance realized what he was doing

    IDK tyreke had so much freedom his rookie year , whereas Lance was not really given a chance …..they are very similar players that were put in very different situations …in my opinion

    I understand where you’re coming from with unlimited freedom playing a role in Reke’s rookie campaign but he’s on a whole another level skill-wise and athletically compared to Lance.

    And I know Lance made alot of mistakes ( beating up a girl and other issues) but as basketball players I think they have (or had) the same potential

    I think Tyreke’s skill level is slightly overrated… the kid has NO left and while his jumper has improved it still needs lots of work..He had a great rookie season but now that teams have figured out his game he has struggled a bit… Lance is no where near the finisher as Reke but aside from that I don’t see a major difference in their games skill wise…and while Reke is more athletic than Lance, I don’t think the gap between then is that large

    @Royal, Lance never beat up his girlfriend. She fell down the steps due to an untimely misjudgement of distance and Lance just happened to be in the vicinity. At least that is what the police report says. You can’t just assume he beat her up immediately after finding out she was carrying his child.———- Breaking News… David West provided fists of encouragment to Born Ready to entice him to act like a professional.     @patrick, watch from the 0:24 mark on. It looks to be directed at LeBron is you see where Lance is facing and the other angle where LeBron is talking to the refs. Either way, that was a b1tch azz flop by LBJ. The flopping epidemic is real.

    FnF: The girlfriend recanted her story that he beat her after she reported it to the police. That doesn’t mean it didn’t happen. This kid has been assaulting girls since high school. Plus, the neighbors heard a confrontation. It’s not just some coincidence. On another note, JTaylor’s mom called. She really thinks I’m giving her back those panties she left at my crib smh.
