LeBron James Soaked With Drink By a Celtics Fan After Game 6 (VIDEO)

Nothing could ruin his night.

It was a banner night for Celtics fans, who came at Dwyane Wade and LeBron James a lot harder than the Boston players did. Some jerk in the stands doused LeBron with a drink following his masterful Game 6 performance, and James’ sly smile after showed that absolutely nothing could ruin his evening.

As far as the greatest performance ever? No knock on LaBeast James but it’s a matter of opinion. A lot of people were saying RR had one of the greatest performances a few games ago (not me) Just in this decade alone.. (I don’t want to offend any young cats and be called old timer lol) In this decade alone you have AI vs Lakers in 2001 Finals when he dropped 48 pts, 6 asts, 5 stls, 5 rbs, 9-9 FT and 1 T Lue step over. SHAQ almost had a quadruple double in the same Finals series. DUNCAN in 2003 with 21 pts, 20 rbs, 10 asts & 8 blks. DWADE in 2006 Finals w/ 42 pts, (15 in 4th qtr) 13 rbs..he had a 3 game stretch of 42, 36, 43. What about KG in 2004 against Sacto w/ 32 pts, 21 rbs & 5 blks ? I’m just saying it’s a matter of opinion and for most fans..who their fav player is. You notice I didn’t mention the likes of B. King, M. Johnson, L. Bird, Moses, Andrew Toney, Barkley, Miller, Kobe, Stockton, Dream, MJ etc etc

    Good perspective Boston Baller.

Good point bostonballer, except….how many of those games were a win or go home situation? Were all those players scrutinized every time they passed the ball in the losing minutes of a game? Lebrons game wasn’t just impressive because only one other player has ever done it, its impressive because people actually expect him to put up those absurd numbers, and he does even when he has the pressure of the whole sports world on his back.

Lebrun is an amazing player and all should show respect for that kInd of performance

Guess that explains what happened in game 7

  • What

    WILL HE BE ALRIGHT?

@vtrobot, I’m as well as a teacher who just finished out the school year can be. lol @Joshua, D’Wade’s was a title clinching 6th game, Duncan game 6 of Finals, AI’s was game 1 of Finals but talk about the weight of the world…he didn’t have a Wade or Bosh so don’t over do the cliches. I think the Shaq moment was game 2 of 2001 finals (1 of many great moments in his career)28 points on 12-for-19 shooting, 20 rebounds, nine assists, eight blocks. I believe KG’s was a game 7. Regardless of all that…does it matter as long as we can enjoy it?

I believe most of the games I mentioned except games 1 or 2 were either win or go home or the turning point in the series. (W/out turning points you don’t get to do or die games) As far as scrutiny goes, AI was dissed at every turn and actually carried his team like no other player in history. IMO. The reason LBJ gets flack for passing at the last moment is b/c he can be so dominate and when he is on a roll then passes up a shot to defer or fades away from the ball on the last play you can’t help but notice. (If Magic, Bird, MJ, Miller, Stockton or any other all time great did that they would have been blasted too..they didn’t do that and LBJ is learning to embrace that killer instinct as well. As far as pressure goes, who else was going to shoot on Indy teams? So the pressure was on miller as was the defense. Who else but AI? MJ had Pippen and the bench he could depend on but Jordan didn’t defer, he was the focal point at the end of the game and made wise decisions…LBJ is also going to embrace that in time..the time may be here.
