Video: Paul Pierce Nails Dagger Three Over LeBron James in Game 5

The Truth lives up to his nickname.



Hardly anyone believed the Boston Celtics could walk into Miami and steal Game 5, but that’s precisely what happened. Paul Pierce hit the shot of the night, right in LeBron’s eye. It’s now on to Beantown, for a potential close-out Game 6.

    Decent game, big shot. I read on another post that PP was not a top SF. He takes and makes shots when the C’s are winning AND when they are losing. He hits big shots when it matters. No front running from him. Crying for calls maybe…clutch for sure.

    Paul Pierce is like the opposite of James in every way. Clutch vs. Quitter, Humiliated on Draft Night vs. The Chosen One, Finals MVP with a ring vs. League MVP with none, Athleticism vs. Craftiness. – Imagine if you could transplant Paul Pierce’s brain into Lebron’s frame?

    Heat lost because they didn’t work as hard as the Cs did on D. Plain simple. Also, if Bosh can play extended minutes out there in game 6, this one swings right back into Heat’s favor as KG’s gonna wear down taking care of Bosh AND the Cs interior D. LBJ looked gassed out at the end there. That’s NOT good news for El Heat. But props to the Cs. As a Laker fan, I hope they get past the Heat because they’re playing better and I want to see Duncan vs KG in the Finals but I hope they get swept 4-0 in the Finals :D .

    @T-Ray, if you watch Pierce’ lips he actualy says “I’m cold blooded, I’m cold blooded” as he’s running back. Classic.
    @LarryLegend, I agree. The NBA should go to Inside after every game, not just the ones they’re covering. The ESPN dudes are horrible.

    The Truth will set you free, no doubt. But the real difference is, KG is healthy and playing with something to prove and Rondo isn’t hurt either. Heads forget this might have happened last year if Rondo didn’t go down with the dislocated elbow. He’s putting on a CLINIC out there at the point. Bosh better do something, because KG is KILLIN the Heat on the interior, on both ends of the floor. KG Vs Timmy one more time would be a nice way for one or both of them to go out in the finals. Got to respect what the C’s have done this post season. If only Bradley didn’t get hurt and Ray was on good wheels…
