Kobe Bryant Accepts Kyrie Irving’s Challenge to Play 1-on-1 for $50,000 (VIDEO)

Trash-talking at its finest.

Kyrie Irving, who put on a show during scrimmages against Team USA Olympians, was feeling himself and challenged Kobe Bryant to a game of one-on-one. A bemused Kobe gladly accepted, placing a $50,000 bet on the outcome of the game, and mercilessly trash-talked Kyrie. Hilarious stuff.

Kyrie needs to show some respect. The kid hasn’t really done anything, and he is talking about playing 1 on 1 with one of the greatest 1 on 1 players of all time. We aren’t talking about screens being set, or pick and pops. How often does Kyrie get double teamed….Kobe is right, Kyrie had better watch some video, and also see how many times Kobe was all Defensive team. Also how he picks apart individual defenses 1 on 1 without help. It’s funny, because it reminds me of how many chumps i’ve run in to talking the same kind of smack that i’ve destroyed for a fraction of that money….Very similar, and I know many can relate…who actually play competitive basketball….I like the confidence though, but tone it down.
