Official Trailer for Kevin Durant’s Movie ‘Thunderstruck’ (VIDEO)

You’ve already seen the initial trailer for Kevin Durant’s upcoming film (August 24 is the premiere.) Above is the extended and official version, which doesn’t change the fact that the movie will more than likely be awful.

    i love KD i really do but this… this is without words terrible… if Like Mike and Space Jam had a miscarrage it would turn into this movie

    -kid sucks at basktball
    -kid steals KD’s talent
    -KD plays poorly, meanwhile kid makes his schools team and does a bunch of unrealist dunks off trampolines & wires.
    -they eventually transfer KD’s talents back to him just in a nick of time(playoffs/championship/ect)
    -kid play game without the talent and hits a game winning shot anyways.
    -KD & kid exchange corny jay z insipred “salute”

    LOL they showed this trailer before the Thunder lost to the Heat and everybody was talking about how it was corny but in a good way. Too much hate, I think it will be a fun watch for any basketball fan.

    You guys realize this movie isn’t meant for 20 and 30 year-olds. This is a movie for kids, who don’t care if it looks corny, or is a rip off of any other movie. They will enjoy it nonetheless, so stop the hate and let the kids enjoy it.

    Space Jam + Like Mike = thunderstruck, except one would expect a combination of those two movies would be better lol, but this looks awful

    No offense, KD is not big enough for this movie. He is not even in the top 5 worldwide jersey seller. I would have done this movie with Kobe, Lebron, Rose or Melo. No one else period. This movie is Like Mike 3 produced by Disney channel with a spinoff of Nick Jr. I can’t believe this, man What is America Coming too, this movie will not do well, but if the marketing team would have picked a more visible known player, it could have had the potential to do more. I think the company thinks KD wholesome image is good, until he takes off his little jersey and their are girl tatoos at the top and bottom his back. This movie is not even better than Like Mike 1.

    KD has no D. just a scorer right now. Melo plays more D than this guy i the olympics guarding 4′s. Lebron was a much complete player back then at K’s age today.

    @ The Seed…I think Durant is perfect for the movie because he is one of the few players in the league who really love the game. His passion is what drives him to be great and he probably always wanted to star in his own bball movie. Which one of us basketball junkies wouldn’t tho!

    I will rate this above some of Shaqs attempts, but that is about it.
    It is a shame considering how awesome ‘More than a game’ was.
    The saving factor of this movie will be if Russ goes all ball hog in the film and does some other unexpected things lol

    I´m a huge KD fan but seriously WTF?! I read some of the comments before I saw the trailer and it still blew my mind by being worse I could have ever tought.. Realy hope KD forgets this nonsense and after USA takes gold in london he gets back to work and makes sure Thunder wins it this year!

    Why are peoples such followers. Slam say its bad and everyone jumps on the bandwagon. Slam has a right to their opinion but people shouldn’t be so quick to down it. It looks descent, I would take my daughter to see it. But people please, get off Slam nuts and have your own opinion.

    Haters,Haters,Haters!!! When any of you losers make it to the NBA, win a gold medal and have a major movie co (WB) approach you about making a movie about something you love then comment! I can’t stand people that talk to put others down everyone is entitled to their opinion but meanness is not necessary! It looks like a cute family movie! It’s no Shawshank Redemption but I don’t think it was supposed to be! Most of you will go see it anyway even if it’s just to talk bad about it later! Losers!
