Rajon Rondo Fights Kris Humphries (VIDEO)

Featuring plenty of shoving and ejections.


Following a hard foul on Kevin Garnett by Kris Humphries, Rajon Rondo came to his teammate’s defense and triggered a shoving match between several members of the Boston Celtics and Brooklyn Nets that spilled into the stands along the baseline. Rondo and Humphries were, of course, tossed from the game along with Gerald Wallace.

    Although there was some contact on KG’s shoulder (and maybe face) on Humphries’ follow through, I don’t think it warranted Rondo’s reaction. KG’s dishes it out way more than he gets in return and Rondo just seemed like a brat on that play.

    Rondo escalated the entire situation. It wasn’t a hard foul on Humphries, it was a normal foul. Rondo took it upon himself to act like a tough guy. They’re all “Hardwood Gangsters”.

    This may sound like “hate” but its truth. I’ll admit I dont like the guy though. Anyways, Rondo’s a big diva. He was upset that Humphries blocked him on the other end a few plays earlier (like a child in primary school would be) and he took his oppurtunity to overreact to a Humphries foul to Garnet take a shot at him. And honestly, his assist streak in my eyes has been one of the more empty streaks that i can think of, as he would play in blowout wins (Or losses) to pad those assist numbers up… what a goof.

    Yeah, even the ever barking KG wasn’t jawing after the foul… Rondo should chill out a bit.

    I’d like to think there was something that led up to this. Not even Rondo would be stupid enough to start a fight over just that foul.

    Rondo was pissed he only had 3 assists in 18 mins…needed this excuse to not get a double double

    Rondo reminds me of an emo teenager who plays like his parents told him he can’t go to the One Direction concert(I think that’s the group the kids are listening to today).

    Hard foul? Hardly… KG’s one of my favorite players but geebus… KG flopped on that play. Rondo overreacted and got what he deserved… THE BOOT!
