d’tunder could’ve used harden and his 37 pts.

    Russel Whatthehellareyoudoingbrook

Probably the most underrated player in the NBA; one of the most underrated ever.

The Thunder’s season is not off to a good start.

  • Caribbeancop

Westbrook should let his beard grow

russell westbrook, amazing defense for the last possession. SMH

They played zone right? Well that’s what Parker told Westbrook

  • Macti

POPs designed that play perfectly or was just Westbrook not paying attention at all

  • TheUnspokenTruth

Man, long day for the league’s best shot blocker. First Ibaka get dunked on by Tim Duncan, then Tony Parker hits the game winner in his face.

  • LeroyShonuff

Yea, the thunder season is over! This lost drops them in the BCS standings… what will they ever do… riiiiggghhtt….

  • Darksaber

Toni Toné Tony…. Like a fine wine.
Scheduling some of last season’s most heated matchups to start the season was a small stroke of genius by the league. Clippers/Grizzlies, Heat/Celtics and now this one? All entertaining games.
(Luved Pop’s smirk too, great start to the NBA season)

  • fruizm

    great speech.

  • Slick Ric

How much longer before people realize russell westbrook is an overrated defender? I think many get fooled by his intensity and the couple of possessions a game he shows potential to be a great defender.

One loss? A last second loss to one of the deepest teams in the West? Yeah man, that’s just awful…..

  • http://www.facebook.com/HolyBaller Dillan Leu

It is really frustrating. He got KILLED by the screen and roll, and trailed Tony Parker virtually the whole game.

They also could have used something resembling defense….

If you could pick harden or Westbrook who would u trade???

  • Draak Grafula

Sucks indeed. Though on that last possession I see nothing wrong with Ibakas D. He defended his man well (even tried to kick the inbound pass.) He just saw an open Paker but came to late to cover Russels mistake. Westbrook left Parker open during the complete duration of that play. No screens necessary. (I can’t judge the rest of the game, I’ve only seen this and some highlights.)

  • Draak Grafula

Even so, nice play by the Spurs though. Westbrook would have probably get screened If he tried to stick with Parker anyway.

  • Dagger

Losing your third star and losing at the last second to the team that might have leapfrogged you in the west’s hierarchy does not count as a good start.

  • The Mauve Avenger

Always love the wild expressions of emotion on Tim Duncan’s face

  • Adeola Dada

    Russel Waldobrook

  • Max

    Great.

  • Max

Great comment but that name tho..

  • Max

Q: Would it be better had the Thunder traded Westbrook for say Rubio and Pekovic.
Thunder get post scoring and someone to get KD and Harden even better shots.
    KLove gets his UCLA teammate.

yup, it was only bad against the miami heat, nowadays just one game into the season and everyone’s a sports analyst: harden is a G.O.A.T, lakers absolutely suck, etc etc

  • http://www.facebook.com/shooting.guard.319 Shooting Guard

okc coach’s face look like he just lost in the month of june lol, it’s ok bro there’s 80 more left to play

  • http://www.facebook.com/shooting.guard.319 Shooting Guard

definetly his fault i don’t know what or who he gambled against

  • LeroyShonuff

They lost their 3rd star two years ago to in Jeff Green. They have replaced Harden with with Martin. But your right, losing to a team you played against in the wcf and needed a historical run of shooting to beat in the first place shows that this team barely makes the playoffs

  • Dagger

Stop making asinine straw man arguments. Nobody said the Thunder barely make the playoffs. Nobody said they weren’t still a good team. And are you seriously comparing Jeff Green a couple years back to Harden right now? Come on.
