JaVale McGee Hits the First Three-Pointer of His Career (VIDEO)

With about a second left on the clock in the third quarter, the LA Clippers left Denver Nuggets center JaVale McGee wide open at the three-point line. It was understandable, seeing as how he’d never hit a three before. Whoops! JaVale drained the long-range bomb, the first of his NBA career, and helped the Nuggets end the Clippers’ long winning streak.

    i dont think that anyone knowing basketball doubts his talent. he is a very skilled big man. its just that he entertains us way too often with lanky, awkward, goofy looking stuff. sometimes i think to myself “the poor guy” but then he pulls another blooper n i gotta laugh again. still i got respect for his game

    I think alot of people think hes all about clounin’. fair enough. i chuckle at some of it too but i admire how by keeping his head down he rises above that bull-i$h by working on his lanky , awkward , goofy looking game. Got a triple double with 12 blocks a couple of years ago so you know he goes after it. He’s in a good place now in Denver + It looked like he contributed nicely in that 3rd quarter where they put the Clips away. Nothin goofy bout that, just ask C.P. & co.
