Kenneth Faried Crushes Alley-Oop Over Dwight Howard (VIDEO)

The Manimal with the HUGE finish.

The Denver Nuggets spent much of last night’s 119-108 victory dunking on the floor-bound Lakers, while Kenneth Faried provided the game’s defining play, as he hammered home an oop on a helpless Dwight Howard.

I just feel sad watching this.. The old Dwight would have caught
    this lob with his mouth….

  • ron

What’s happened to Dwight? Heard he’s a monster of defense.

Nice play by Faried, but Howard ain’t right man. He’s stiff as a board out there.

I dont know what to think about this

  • Niles

No one even tries to throw a lob over Dwight a year ago…

  • pais

Back surgery happened. You know, the support column for your limbs?

  • mike

i like how he points at kobe after the play…..what a punk

i didn’t see the game last night, but watching this replay that is exactly the first thought that ran through my head.

LOL @ my man Iggy. . The Manimal b takin ova + he wants it more than Dwight ever did.

Why’s he even playing with that back the way it is? Get this man some more rehab.

  • fruizm

    Dwight just keeps losing!

  • RayJr

I agree with everybody. Dwight looked great the 2 games before but looked like he was moving through sand last night.

  • speedy

That’s what happens if you play instead of rehabing.
And it shows us how much Dwight’s game lived through his pure athleticism and that a long time ago he should have started working on his moves and shot.

Hey SLAM, post this video. It is sad, funny, pathetic, frustrating, and enlightening, all at the same time.

  • TSmoove

    Started dominating now he’s here…

I’ve seen Dwight get crushed on more times this year then all other years combined, which brings me to another question: How does he play on the same team to a player (Bryant) who dunked on him so dirty just a few seasons back, and for a team that kept his team from winning it all? #hereallysaidifyoucantbeatemjoinem

Dwight’s coming back in spurts–but he can’t seem to bring it every night. Looks like he gets winded easily.

Second game of a back to back.
    High altitude.
    Guys were tired, anyway.

I agree with your point that he should have took more time off, but athleticism is important. You can work on your game all you want, but if you can’t move or jump, you’re not gonna be effective.

I’m not a Dwight fan, but the ball was deflected by Denver and he had no idea that Brewer was coming. I mean, how often do NBA guys display the kind of hustle Brwer did on that play? lol

  • http://twitter.com/_DFrance DFrance

Not a Dwight fan, but the ball was deflected off of Denver and he didn’t see Brewer so he was letting it go out. Honestly, how often do NBA guys display the type of hustle Brew did there? lol

  • roscoe

on back to back nights dh12 is having a tough go…

a betting man could easily make some change of that fact.

    manimal gave him the BIZ!

  • robb

Honestly, that was Nash’s fault. It doesn’t matter if Dwight cries if he doesn’t get the ball, he has to find himself better spots. Standing right behind JaVale??? are you kidding me? Don’t try to feed him if he’s not willing to eat.

  • Lan

    Nice play!

  • robb

Tim Duncan would disagree. I mean Dwight’s gonna get in shape at some point, but when he is in his thirties he’s gonna be playing like this. He should be working on his moves HARD.

  • The Philosopher

I know I sure did, that night!
