LeBron James Outduels Kevin Durant (VIDEO)

LeBron’s the MVP favorite for a reason.

The NBA’s two best players delivered the goods in their final showdown of the regular season, as the Miami Heat took down the OKC Thunder 110-100. LeBron James (39 points, 12 rebounds, 7 assists) edged Kevin Durant (40 points, 8 rebounds, 4 assists).

If there is still anyone out there who thinks LeBron isn’t the best player in the league, they need to watch this video

    Man Durant got bullied… lol

  • Slick Ric

    SMH at Durant.

the heat should just keep these uniforms. mourning, mashburn, ike austin and co. must feeling this

  • Max

They need to stop watching basketball in general.

Not in the fourth quarter. He did score 22 points. Some came as jumpers in Leborn’s face; some came as drives right past him. Both of them are pretty much unguardable (I know that’s not a word lol).

loved the comment rMiller made about the summer workout and how he believes Bron bron got an advantage over KD by learning a little more about his game. HOF-ers know stuff.

KD is a great player, but it is quite clear MIA is a well-oiled machine, and Bron bron is d’beast of d’league.

Bron bron almost hit the 40/10/10 easily against arguably the 2nd best team in the nba.

And while OKC is stuck in ISO plays a little too much their teamwork will get better.

imo, OKC is trending down mentally and now is the time for KD to step up as d’leader.

Couldn’t have said what Reggie said any better myself.

What can one really learn by working out with another player? I mean it wasn’t like they were going one-on-one all day long, it was mostly shooting/dribbling drills, weight training and conditioning work.

Love Durant !! he always keeps playing with his heart but Lebron is just out of this world. Incredible

  • Sizzle

OKC now looks like the Miami of 2010. Too much dribbling and iso, no movement. They may have been better served trading westbrook for a quality PG and keeping Harden. Westbrook plays like he is the first and only option, which is a problem when there is a lil fella named Kevin Durant on your team.

LeBron wasn’t guarding him most of the 4th. And when he was, he wasn’t guarding him hard because he was trying not to foul. (D Wade had fouled out and Bron had 4)

Props to Durant but let’s not act like this was an equal duel

  • Happy

Who said it was equal? I’m saying that the possesions when Lebron was guarding him in the fourth, he hit shots. He had a couple of nice drives and some jumpers with Lebron in his face.

  • robb

Have you all noticed how Lebron makes the court look smaller? the guy’s incredible, the court looks smaller, the rim looks lower and the rest of the players look slower. Remember when Kobe said he was Neo? He’s wrong, he may be Morpheus but Lebron is Neo in this m*therf*cker.

i think it is difficult to encapsulate what can be learned by working out…

but for me, someone that is extremely competitive, i think i could get an mental edge on an opponent if we were close to equals. (im not claiming i can hoop w/ bron bron or kd btw)

i know if i spent time on a court w/ someone “my equal” I could pick up on their footwork tendencies, even if it was just one move and we only hung out for 3 or 4 hours which would give me an edge in a real game.

Earning d’1st gold ball is the most difficult & protecting trade secrets is best imo

lebron could retire right now and live happily in the nba books

  • Teddy-the-Bear

LeBron already is hitting jumpshots consistently. WTF is Reggie Miller talking about?

  • borges

Scary thing, that he is still getting better.
