Russell Westbrook Snaps After a Reporter’s Silly Question (VIDEO)

The Utah Jazz won at home last night, which left the OKC Thunder feeling salty. Kevin Durant complained about Jazz fans, and Russell Westbrook reacted hilariously to a dumb question from a member of the media in the postgame locker room. Per the Oklahoman: “Westbrook simply walked off. The temperamental team captain got fed up with a reporter’s question and suddenly turned his back and ended the interview before walking away. The exchange was as follows. ‘Russell, did you guys lose this game, or did the Jazz win this one?’ Westbrook: ‘Whaaaaat? Bro, what are you talking about, man? I’m out man. Y’all n***** trippin’.”

Good for him. That’s a BS question asked by a lazy reporter.

  • KevinJohnsonFan

No filter on Russell when he’s pissed. Love it. Same dude from Long Beach.

  • Lloyd

Let’s hope he has a couple of sh*t games in the playoffs so we can have more of this lol.

Soo does anyone else think Russell Westbrook looks like Howard the Duck?

  • logues

haha yes… but i always thought he looked like a teenage mutant ninja turtle too

  • unclelukescousin

This kid is batshit crazy. Also he closely resembles the baby from that tv show Dinosaurs. The one that yells “not the mama!”

That is a common question since athletes often say they gave the game away in response. Smart move is to just answer civilly and move on.

    This dude is beyond immature.

Damn…it seems like everything this cat says gets blown out of proportion. Why is it that we expect athletes to be happy go lucky after a tough loss?

  • KevinJohnsonFan

Throwing microphones in their faces and expecting them to not be pissed after games like that is ridiculous.

  • mauricegarland

I’ve heard just about every respectable sports commentator use the “did this team win or did this team lose” analogy. I dont know what the problem is either. Being a Hawks fan, I understand it clearly.

  • KevinJohnsonFan

He looks like his teammate, Daniel Orton, more than anything else.

“Did you guys lose or did they win?”…Look at the scoreboard. Obviously, both happened. Stupid question to ask to some people. Clearly Russell also thought it was stupid. No problem with him answering this way. People should already know how he is when he’s heated. Leave him alone or don’t be surprised with his answers.

He said “Ya’ll N*ggas, man.” LOL

  • Matt

This question wasn’t stupid at all.

  • RKJ92

That’s not what the reporter asked.. lol, maybe what was meant to be implied, but the question in itself was just plain stupid..

Right. I wonder if he will get fined for dropping an N-Bomb though. Probably not since it wasn’t nationally televised.

they know him, that’s why they ask him questions like that. I never hear kobe or lebron or garnett get questions like that

The civil move is to just answer. The smart move woulda been for him to say “dude, if you don’t have a question, don’t ask anything. This is over. All of you, go away. I’m done. It’s that guy’s fault (points at dumb reporter)” A couple of weeks ago i had a date with this chick. She ordered something expensive and barely touched it. The date didn’t go too well and i decided i didn’t wanna see her again so i asked her “how come you ordered and didn’t eat your food. If you’re not hungry, don’t order anything. Stick to what you’re good at: Drinking and being a b*tch.” When i did it, it seemed like a good move. On hindsight, it’s the greatest thing i’ve ever done.
