LeBron James Hits Game-Winning Layup (VIDEO)

The Miami Heat were down by a point to the Orlando Magic in the dying moments tonight. That’s when Dwyane Wade and LeBron James made their stand — Wade blocked a shot, and LeBron attacked the hoop for the game winner — ensuring that Miami’s winning streak extended to 16 games.

    why not foul? smh

  • trent

I didn’t see the game but I’m assuming they didn’t have a foul to give.

that akward moment when you have to fight the urge to yell “THIS IS MY HOUSE”…..

    The King.

    damn slam that was fast

The Heat have to stop playing down to inferior opponents. Crush every team like you know you can. You shouldn’t be in close games with the Bobcats, the Kings, and the Magic when you’re a team like the Heat. I guess as long as they keep racking up W’s it’s cool.

Drove to his left. I hope MJ was watching.

Mama there goes that man . . .

The League was desperate to help Miami maintain its winning streak. Eight minutes without a field goal miraculously coincides with three of Orlando’s starters being fouled out & a victory! Congratulations, Miami fans.

All u bandwagon miami fans were shook. My man Vucevic destroyed u guys. Good game. Go Magic

Wow. This is what exactly what I envisioned when I first thought that Lebron could become . He’s self-actualized himself (in terms of basketball).

  • trent

You know, a moral victory isn’t an actual victory. Right?

at this point that’s all the Magic have…and that’s fine! It’s an entertainment industry let him be entertained

    these refs were horrible

  • anon

Hell yeah. The Vuc had 25 points and 21 rebounds, y’all! DOMINATION.

We got a team of rookies and “players nobody wanted”. Our point guard is the crib midget and we traded away the only shooter we had for even more rookies. Having a 1 point lead against the champs with 30 seconds left is like winning game 7 for us right now.

  • LelBron

Even as a big Miami fan I cannot deny that this was pure refball…still finally LelBron closed it out (even though he bricked a thousand 3s) and I’m happy. #LelGod #LelClutch

  • Gman

    it happens to all teams

  • Max

He’s better driving to his left.

  • LP

Yep……… because JORDAN said “Making LEBRON drive left will decrease his chances of scoring to 0%”. So Jordan is totally wrong…..

More out of context reporting from casual basketball fans like yourself.

  • KevinJohnsonFan

I think Jordan forgot or doesn’t know that LeBron writes left-handed. Remember, this is the guy who drafted Kwame Brown and Adam Morrison with top picks.

  • don

exactly. i was surprised too to find out that lebron is a lefty, he’s got so much power on his right on those jams, while i can barely control my off-hand on lay-ups lol

Wow, Wade fouled that dude pretty hard on that “block. He got the ball, but he hi-5′d him really really good. Orlando fans would have a legit gripe about that play. But LEBron got a real good look on the other end

  • pposse

most of the time when lebron drives to his left he starts at the top of the key, if you notice on the game winning layup he drove from the RIGHT side of the top of the key, the angle at which he drove used the rim to shield a good block attempt; kudos to lebron for making an adjustment.

  • pposse

that block by d wade was nasty; he blocked him twice!!

OK, it’s the other way round (right-handed, left-handed…) but this comment reminded me of http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=k7zvffHu_wo#t=72s
