Joakim Noah and Taj Gibson Ejected from Game 2 (VIDEO)

With the Chicago Bulls getting destroyed last night, Joakim Noah and Taj Gibson decided they had seen enough and got kicked out of Game 2 early in the fourth quarter. Both acknowledged that they lost their cool and that their actions weren’t very “Zen”. Per the Sun-Sentinel: “After the 115-78 drubbing, the Bulls let it be known that they were frustrated by their own play, their inability to stop the Heat and also with calls that weren’t going their way. ‘You’re competitors, you’re going to go out there and do everything you can. If you feel like you’re getting cheated, you’re going to say something about it,’ Carlos Boozer said. All the frustration boiled over early in the fourth quarter as the Heat rout turned into a runaway. After Marquis Teague was called for a foul on a Ray Allen layup, Bulls center Joakim Noah said something to official Scott Foster. He was immediately hit with his second technical foul of the game and ejected. Taj Gibson joined the fray and quickly drew two technicals of his own in a profanity-laced exchange with Foster. In addition to getting tossed, Gibson could face a suspension and or a fine. ‘I hope not. I hope they just see it was frustration,’ Gibson said. ‘I have a good rapport with Scott. It’s one of those games that is chippy. Words are going to be said. I don’t mean any harm to Scott. He’s a good referee sometimes.’ Noah, who drew his first technical in the first quarter as part of a double-technical with the Heat’s LeBron James, appeared as if he was ready to call it a night after emotions got the best of him several times. ‘I just wanted to let the referee know how I felt about the game. But I guess I deserved to get kicked out,’ Noah said.”

BAD CALLS BY THE REFS…. BUT NO excuses for the bulls. i hope they take game 3!!!!

I know Miami fans are gonna flip a switch, but the game was clearly rigged. No team wins game 1 and then gets blown out by 40 in game 2 with a clean game. What a joke. Stern’s retirement couldn’t come any quicker.

did the refs play defense and clean up rebounds too?

  • Lloyd

Joakim stepped on to the court after the whistle against Teague where he got T’d up. What’s the rule about that? Is that suspension worthy or not?

  • pposse

no, he got T’d up, ejected, then stepped on the court.

  • thesage

Good question. Did Ray Allen give Chicago players technicals as well?

  • Bandwagonfan

Yea they make no excuses. But the haters of heat will.which is annoying

  • Dave

I’ve always liked Kerr, but I never realized how much of a homer he is. Very annoying. Marv is always great.

Chicago wants to be physical and the heat does it. Now they are crying over every bodycontact and calls. Im a knicks fan so dont associate me with heat fan. In fact i feel the heat homecourt is disgusting

Bulls win, they bust the Heat
    Heat win, the refs cheated

I think that only applies to leaving the bench during a fight. Bench dudes are routinely a step or 2 on the court while celebrating dunks and whatnot.

Who knows what they say on the court we can’t hear. They brought those T’s on themselves anyways. You have to know how to hold your composure. I know they play with “passion” but they over do it a lot. Screaming on dunks and what not. Too emotional.

please explain how it was rigged? Personal Fouls on Bulls 27 Heat 24. Technical Foul 6 for the bulls and 3 for the Heat. The bulls took 6 more shots than the heat(76 to 70) but made 15 less basket than miami(27 to 42). stop looking for stupid excuses and accept that woopin

It is not about this game..this is how it has been for a long time against the Heat. It just finally came to a head tonight because they were being blown out. Go back to the game where the Bulls ended the Heat’s consecutive win streak. Lebron flat lowered his shoulder, picked up his dribble, and ran over Kirk Hinrich, and Hinrich was called for a foul. After the game LeBron was the one complaining about fouls not being called even though he was just hacking everyone that game.

Lets say a ref misses a call, like the basket interference, the heat turn it into points. If they give the basket to the bulls it allows their D to get set and maybe the stop the heat from scoring. Lets say they miss another call, bulls get back but have to commit a foul to stop the run…that’s why a coach wld call a TO.. To stop them… It’s placement of the call. So you just have to watch the game. Lets say the heat get on a run, then theyll call a foul on Birdman, or a defensive 3 seconds the next trip down
making sure the game stays close. They control the game.
But the bulls lost focus on the game and making plays and got caught up in the hype. Not to say they would have won but the final score may have been different. But a L is a L.

yes games can get rigged, but not 40 point blow outs

    bum ass games

  • Max

Bazemore is more on the court than on the bench and he aint even playing.

loool thats loser thinking my friend. no one takes themselves seriously and blames the ref. bulls started giving shoulders and then couldn’t take it themselves.

  • Max

    You just made an excuse.

  • José Pabon

They need to have a better attitude in the game. kids are watching this and they are not the role Model i want for mine.

  • http://twitter.com/_DFrance DFrance

Yeah him and Draymond Green are ridiculous.

  • Max

    But fun!

  • Michael Fang

Lebron does complain a lot but he also gets hacked a lot on drives and not all of them are called either. It’s like when they officiated Shaq (obv not as much or as bad), Lebron is so physical and creates so much contact that a lot of calls that should or shouldn’t be made are wrong in that split second decision

  • bringbackthesonics

    “He’s a good referee sometimes”

  • Bandwagonfan

Man if lebron was not that strong he wouldve been literally died from long time ago. We doesnt realize how he got hacked everytime.

  • Bandwagonfan

    Thisn is what i mean.

  • Bandwagonfan

If i i were him, i would do some serious dance before i walk off.

by far the worst officiated game, I’ve ever seen. the worst was nate giving his teammates fives, while walking away…the ref eavesdropping on the convo, and T nate up during a timeout. that took the cake for me. what an embarrassment.
