LeBron James Commits Two Turnovers in Final Minute of Game 2 (VIDEO)

The Pacers’ defense prevailed.

Despite dropping 36 points, 8 rebounds, throwing down reverse breakaway dunks and hitting buzzer-beating threes, LeBron James committed two costly turnovers on consecutive possessions with under a minute to play that ultimately led to the Pacers coming away with the 97-93 Game 2 victory.

David West will now be on the all defensive team next year!

  • star

well guess that means i have to go back to the ‘oh lebron is an absolute choke’ bandwagon

  • spit hot fiyah

he had a VERY similar turnover at the end of game 1. where he spun into the lane and had an open 8 footer and chose to try a cross court pass instead that got picked. people forgot about that one though due to the game winner

  • Ugh

That’s what building defence around scouting reports can get you. This is about the Pacers, not so much about LeBron.

  • KingBenjamin

Clutch my ass, he still has a pass first mentality when the game is on the line, I don’t care that he hit that game winner in game 1.

  • theDankerNuggets

    great team defense right there

  • RKJ92

That’s because you sir, are a hater.

It wasn’t even LeBron that caused Miami to lose this game, fact is Pacers were up by 1 point with 2 minutes remaining and Dwyane Wade had the ball took it coast to coast into Lance, George, and Hibbert, and tried to floater the ball in the basket to be the “hero” instead of playing smart basketball looking for the open man and it turned into a Pacers fast break, then from there the Pacers scored 2 baskets in a row.. game. set. match.

Sounds like the kind of dude who waits until one of the few times LeBron doesn’t come through late in the 4th quarter to say something but stays quiet when he does come through. Especially the “I don’t care that he hit that game winner in game 1″ part. Nevermind the plenty of times he has made big shots or just taken over games completely that his team had to win.

This is the Lebron I am used to seeing. Thanks, Lebron for coming through, I can’t wait till next choking a series away.

Still on that 2011 Finals kick huh? Did you forget 2012? Or this regular season? If we’re going into the past, then let’s talk about Kobe not shooting in 2006 against the Suns. Or shooting the Lakers out of the 03-04 Finals. Or, you know, being partly responsible for breaking up a dynasty. Or losing to the Celtics in the 07-08 Finals (getting blown out in the final game). It’s too bad the Lakers no longer have a series to choke away since they’re at home just like you and have been for almost a month. Two bad turnovers don’t change the fact that he played a great game. Yes, games, those things that come on at night that the Lakers aren’t playing in anymore.

  • Beethoven

he travelled for that game winner

  • roscoe

    i agree w/ u and will add…

IND is a fun team to watch defensively.

  • The Seed

Are you obsessed over Kobe. In 2012 he won, YEA. Kobe against Suns was not even a match. You play with a starting five of Smush, Walton, Odom and Brown and tell me how you would feel. Lakers lost to one of the greatest team DEFENSES ever in 03-04. Go watch the tape, Kobe won them their only game. Also 07-08, Pau was outplayed, go rewatch the series and Lakers are down, but you know they will get back up. Rest in Peace, Friend.

lebron won’t make mistakes like that every night, and the pacers better wise-up on that one

  • Judah1012

Nah, you’re the one who’s obsessed which is why you make excuses for him. You play with Larry Hughes, Eric Snow, Drew Gooden, and Ilgauskas and tell me how you feel because LeBron felt like getting to the Finals. In his 4th season and he didn’t need Shaq with him to do it. Really not that big of a difference in talent between that Cavs team and that 06 Lakers team. He was up 3-1 in that series, wasn’t he? LeBron probably would have loved to have Odom on that squad. What kind of leader thinks that way? “I’m playing mostly with scrubs so I’m not going to try anymore.” You bring this on yourself loving all over the Lakers the way you do. Everybody knows how you are. It’s just so easy to attack you because of it. Kobe shooting all over the place definitely didn’t help in 03-04. He hit one big shot and so it’s everyone else’s fault that they lost? You have so many excuses for him. It’s everyone else’s fault besides his, isn’t it? You forgot to mention that Kobe was also outplayed by Paul Pierce. Only thing he did better was score more but he shot a worse percentage than Paul.
