LeBron James: ‘I’m Still Getting Better’ (VIDEO)

While in the Philippines this summer, the four-time MVP said, “I’m still getting better. I don’t want to be the same player I was this past season, I want to come into this season a new, improved, better LeBron James.” Outside of connecting on clutch buckets on his promotional tour, where could LeBron James realistically improve?

Wilt/Shaq – FT Shooting. MJ – 3 pointers. Magic – Defense. Bird – Athleticism. Kobe – Shot Selection. No player is perfect. But it’s this kind of attitude that makes the greats the greatest. This is why I love Sports. LeBron – gunning for the GOAT status. Durant – nipping at his heels. Let’s all appreciate this time in basketball.

For a 6-8 cat, his handles are some of the best all-time.

For a 6-5 dude his handles would still amazing.

That’s a very scary thought….there’s not much area in his game where he can improve…and he’s a good all-around player, too. I was never a Lebron fan, but I give respect where it’s due.

How about trusting and relying on his much improved jumper?? He pretty much abandoned it the entire Finals until Game 7…..I’d like to see what happened in Game 7 in Game 2

Why rely on the jumpshot when you can get closer to the rim and get high-percentage baskets… 2 points is 2 points, the easier the better.

They almost lost the finals because of this thinking. A jumpshot is just as easy as driving to the rack (if you’re hitting them), maybe easier…

The Spurs played him for the jumper and this almost worked had it not been for Ray Allen’s shot in Game 6. THEY almost lost…. He has worked on the jump shot, so now he can’t allow teams to play him like the spurs did.
