John Wall Drops 40 in Kentucky Alumni Charity Game (VIDEO)

Featuring Anthony Davis, Brandon Knight and MKG.

Eric Bledsoe told John Wall he couldn’t score 40, so the Wizards’ max man scored 40…with 10 boards and 10 assists. To top off his MVP performance, the former UK point guard led his blue team in a 111-95 over the white team. Brandon Knight led the white team with 30 points, followed by Michael Kidd-Gilchrist’s 26 points and 14 rebounds.

How can anyone pay to watch this? They’re not even trying. They’re not even pretending to try.

I doubt anyone came into the arena with hopes of a competitive basketball game.

That was pretty painful to watch

    They got ballers for days.

  • Kary

That’s about how long they stay around too…days. 1 or 2 years does not make you an alumni.

Wow. I see why Wall got the max now.

Oh my goodness you guys, if you were at the game you would have seen the competitiveness in the beginning. Plus, Wall or Knight said it’s tough to play competitively in an alumni game without injuring someone.
