Anthony Bennett Scores 14 Fourth-Quarter Points in Preseason Win (VIDEO)

AB shows out.

No. 1 pick Anthony Bennett was only 2-12 from the field in his first preseason game, but he turned it up in his second, dropping 16 points (14 in the fourth quarter) as the Cavs took down the Magic 110-105 last night. Highlights above.

Who said post play was dead? Kid was doing work. And he had the Jimmy going. Let that boy cook.

Have been looking out for him since his Findlay Prep days. Bring it on young man!

If he loses weight, gets better vision with more explosiveness and better shot with better post play and more defense and changes his first name to LeAnthony JaBennette. Then the cavs got a steal. Not lbj but close

Do you think Canada will ever have an olympic team that can be the US olympic team?

  • Mariano

If Andrew Wiggins pans out to be as good as they say he will, then I believe they have a strong chance to beat the US. Canada would have 2 pretty elite players in Wiggins and Bennett, and a nice young core of Nicholson, Corey Joseph, Olynyk, and Tristan Thompson.

  • Da-Meat-Hook

That’s the thing, though. I think Wiggins can be elite, and the rest have very bright futures as NBA starters for years to come…But the States can field a team of 4-5 superstars with another 5-7 all-stars as “role players”.

Even if we were to take Lebron, Melo, CP3, DWade, Deron Williams and Kobe out of the equation for sh!ts and giggles, I don’t see how a team with the likes of KD, Westbrook, Harden, Love, Howard, Kyrie, Paul George, Steph Curry, and D. Rose would lose to Canada.
And this is coming from a guy who was born and raised in Canada and who has been following the national team since Rick Fox was our national treasure…

  • MasterSplinter

He looks like Zach Randolph with more range.

  • MasterSplinter

KD, Westbrook, Harden, Love, Howard, Kyrie, D. Rose, Steph Curry….Wiggins might never get a contract higher then what those players have this year….Or he may be a superstar….but a Canada based team beating that squad in their prime???…plus maybe a Damian Lillard, and a Roy Hibbert?…Yeah right, not even if Vince Carter walked in to a time machine in his prime and decided to change his birth certificate.

  • Björn Atli

dude looks like a heavier, more aggressive brandon bass

  • OTB

He looks pretty out of shape….
