Tyler Hansbrough Scared of Metta World Peace (VIDEO)

Don’t mess with MWP.

Toronto Raptors forward Tyler Hansbrough was ready to start beefing, but then he realized that his opponent would be the extremely scary Metta World Peace. Tyler wisely backed off, and quickly apologized. MWP showed class following the game, and gave Hansbrough props on Twitter:

“Who is this motherf***er tying my arms up .. oh my god Mr Artest i had no idea sir”

  • Stepfan Raiford

Tyler Hansbrough new nickname is my bad my bad.

  • Enigmatic

I mean, there’s “Psycho T”, and then there’s “Crazy Insane Psychotic Deranged Demented Lunatic Ludicrous Nutty Bonkers Looney Wacko Nutso Loco Non Compos Mentis” MWP (shout-out to thesauruses).

  • Stepfan Raiford

Based off Metta’s tweets you can tell he took his medication that day.

Frankly I think Ron enjoys playing up the unhinged loon angle because he gets lots of attention for it. I don’t think he’s any scarier than Ben Wallace or Charles Oakley or any of the league’s historical enforcers.

Acting like you’re down to scrap when you’re not and are in a position where the other guy definitely won’t is the definition of being a “fake tough guy”. That’s “Psycho T” to the tee. Can’t stand that the Raps have him.

Take this for what it is worth…

I have observed Artest since high school and have known people with similar psychological traits.

He is not “acting”. I will say that he is, at the same time, keenly aware of how people react to him but, I assure you, he is most definitely not putting on a front.

As a Raptors fan: damn I miss Charles Oakley.

  • Dfrance

Nah Ron is really crazy and it runs in the family because his younger brother is a nut too.

  • Dfrance

Yup, he defintely was in his “happy place” when he typed those.

It’s rather odd that MWP wants to get into a fist fight on a basketball court. Imagine Timothy Bradley in the ring with Floyd Mayweather and just before they about to mix it up, Bradley starts dribbling a basketball. Wouldn’t that be odd. If MWP “really” wanted to fight he would get in the ring with a heavyweight.

  • Smits#45

A beast like Artest using the word “silly” in his tweets says enough about his mental condition.

^Only real raptors fans know man

  • Tavoris Sinclair

    funniest ‘ish ever!

  • Jerome

I think Artest would like to have not been dunked on to put the game in to OT.

  • Cortez Mack

I do not believe he wants to get into a fight on the court. He does not mind getting into a fight.

    There is a significant difference.

  • shockexchange

Of course he doesn’t mind getting into a fight … especially with someone he knows he can beat. Notice during that brawl in Indianapolis, MWP went at everyone … at least everyone not named “Ben Wallace”.

  • bike

Tyler had just finished reading one of MWP’s childrens books.

  • That Dude

    wth much ado about nothing
