Amare did his thing last night, no matter what anyone says. He was locked in for those minutes he got.

Johnson never thought Amare would play D so he went for the dunk. Surprise!

and just lay there afterwards while his teammates tried to complete the stop.

The Nets are so bad, they lose by 30 even against the Knicks.

    Shades of the past.

He was in shock that he not only rotated on D, but he got the block as well. Needed time to soak it all in.

he was probably thinking no way amare or bargs are even going to try to contest this

He’s been trying to be a great teammate and leader since he got to New York. Unfortunately for him he’s permanently at reduced capacity from injury, is astonishingly overpaid and can’t play a lick of defence other than weakside blocks. All of which means nobody takes it seriously, apparently even his teammates. But the guy is sincerely trying.
