John Wall Chases Down Steph Curry for Huge Block (VIDEO)

No, no, no!

Having coughed up the rock on the game’s opening possession, John Wall recovered nicely by chasing down Steph Curry and swatting away his layup attempt.

Curry should have tried to dunk it. I know his ankles are suspect but come on. Isn’t he like 6’3?

still not comparable because Curry is in the tough as hell west and wall will be playing in the laughable east in the playoffs.

Wall still struggles against his competition in terms of consistency in the east (despite what the stats might tell you)

whereas Curry is consistently killing it. did you see him last year in the playoffs?

Curry has been the second best (arguably number 1) pg in the L.

Wall is maybe the best pg in the east. But by default. Kyrie is having an off season, rose and rondo are.have been out. And its still a maybe. Kyle Lowry says wattup.

im just think that John Walls’ defense will be more of a deciding factor on game over Steph Curry’s offense when the games are allowed to get more physical. Wall is slowly learning how to switch up gears and my guess is that he will show many guards a gear they have not seen yet come playoff time.

Its still amazing to see Curry get open looks on the regular, just still not a believer what can i say!

Just cuz john wall gets the steals and blocks doesnt make him a good defender. Iverson got over 2 steals on the regular as well, u dont see anyone else calling him a lock down defender. Now, wall is a pretty good defender, though i wouldnt call him elite. neither would any wizards fans, if u ever talk with em. (yet, at least, is what they’d tell u ). And thats the thing, his defence in a slowed down game might improved, but his offence WILL fall of a cliff. He is NOT good in the half court. he missed A LOT of lay ups (again, one of the grievances of wizards fans) in traffic. His game is basically built around bullying his way to the rim while running at his highest speed in transition. that isnt gonna work in the playoffs. Walls other aspect is his playmaking, which as well is very good, but in a half court, he just becomes above average as a passer, if that. And he turns the ball over waaaayyyyyyyyy too much. (last night he got 4 turnovers to his 5 assists)

Curry has already proven himself in the playoffs. Idk how u arent a believer, his passing is now at an elite level, he’s second in the L, and he’s a top 6 scorer. Only knock on his game is turnovers. You cant say he’s an injury waiting to happen anymore either, he’s been consistently healthy the past 2 years.
