Who Wants Some Kings?

Because, with one notable exception, they’re all practically available: “When Kings basketball president Geoff Petrie recently said he was ‘very, very open’ when it came to trade talks, it was largely because the door has already closed on this season. There is no need to hold onto veterans for a playoff push, nor is there reason to think anyone besides Kevin Martin couldn’t be living in a new zip code in these next few weeks. With 15 days left until the trade deadline, there is desperation within the organization to start the resuscitating process. The tricky part is to not act out of desperation.”

Unless Jason Thompson is offered in a package with another of these players, then they really don’t have any attractive pieces.

I started wondering who could fit on my Hawks, until I realized I can only name like four players on that team.

The celtics could use Salmons, as could the Magic.

Brad Miller would help my team a bit. We could use a defending/decent shooting 3 as well. But even if we stand pat (pun intended), I’m just glad the JO flirtation is over.

If the Bobcats trade Felton to a team other than Sacramento and then make another trade to get Beno Udrich, i would be happy.

I can’t wait for the Warriors to trade a big to Sacto so they can get John Salmons, thus continuing the Redundancy Project of Redundancy

Brad Miller would be the IDEAL signing for the Ceatles. We’d get an experienced big man to split time with Perk (depending on who’s on the court), our only seven-footer, and it would shake things up a little bit, and we’ve needed to sign a real big guy for a while now.

I LOVE how everyone is saying that these players could help other teams…Umm…they aren’t helping the Kings much.
Having said that – The Suns would LOVE to get Beno Udrih!

How much of a backward, hypocritical reversing slum-comment was that…sounds like nbk.

Hey Moose….Garnett is seven feet tall…he just pretends not to be…its all part of his pysche… I think he might atually have Bi-polar disorder or something. It runs in my family, I’ve seen the personality traits and fluctuations occur.
