KG and the Slow Healing Process

Kevin and the C’s have little choice but to be patient: “This weekend was the two-week mark on a prognosis that had him out 2-3 weeks. And it may end up being longer than three. ‘I’m going to still say no earlier than next Sunday,’ coach Doc Rivers said. ‘We’re playing the Bucks next Sunday. I would say that would be the earliest playing, but I don’t see that. That’s Kevin. That’s what he told me. That’s not anything I’ve talked to Eddie (Lacerte, the C’s trainer) about. When we talk, Eddie and I, it’s longer than that. So we’ll see.’”

    Slow and Easy is the ticket….He shouldn’t come back until he is completely ready PHYSICALLY. We will patiently wait b/c if he came back and helped us get home court advantage yet aggravated the injury that would be worse than not having home court. I think we can still get the advantage, it only takes a couple of
    Cav loses and a few wins in a row by the C’s. People are talking as if this race was over.

    The challenge for the Celtics is to keep KG from bolting to play. He needs time to heel, but he seldom accepts it. He almost always plays when injured. I commend Doc for making him slow down to heel. Look out for KG in the playoffs, he’s like a ticking time boom….Boom!
