T-wolves Care About the Unemployed

They’re making it easier to buy season tickets in this economic climate: “As the economy spirals downward and job security gets shakier by the day, the Minnesota Timberwolves have a risk-free offer on the table for season tickets next season: Lose your job and you’re off the hook…Any season-ticket holder who loses their job in 2009 will be refunded the money for unused tickets.”

Posting this and the thing about McHale’s “uncertain future” posted within minutes of each other? Priceless.

Jones beat me to it. Except McHale won’t exactly be hurting for money if he stops working.

The unemployed don’t care about the T-Wolves. Thanks, anyways.

This is ironic. A team that Mr. Stern probably already had to loan money to, promising free tickets to people who lose their jobs. A poor franchise offering free stuff to the unemployed.

They arent free tickets. You’re refunded the money for *unused* tickets.
