T-wolves Care About the Unemployed

They’re making it easier to buy season tickets in this economic climate: “As the economy spirals downward and job security gets shakier by the day, the Minnesota Timberwolves have a risk-free offer on the table for season tickets next season: Lose your job and you’re off the hook…Any season-ticket holder who loses their job in 2009 will be refunded the money for unused tickets.”

    This is ironic. A team that Mr. Stern probably already had to loan money to, promising free tickets to people who lose their jobs. A poor franchise offering free stuff to the unemployed.
