Iverson and Larry Brown Together Again?

Ask Larry Brown what he thinks about reuniting with Allen Iverson. His answer? Nahhh: “He said he’s still receptive to coaching Allen Iverson, who’ll be an unrestricted free agent this summer, but wonders whether the Bobcats — a team far from championship contention — is the right fit for Iverson this late in his career.”

    Allen Iverson is STILL good. Why are people acting like he’s a reserve? Just last season he averaged 27 points and 7 assists PER GAME. So yeah, James the balla, shut your trailer tr@sh mouth.

    AI will never win a championship until AI himself realizes a team can’t win a championship if it’s built around AI.
    The Cats will be dominated by Iverson if he goes there, though they should at least sell quite a few more tickets until they’re 15-30 and fans realize he doesn’t fit any better there than he did in Detroit.

    Oh, I forgot, the Bobcats really need Raymond Felton to be the top dog. Iverson is really going to have a hard time finding his role there, better not disrupt the chemistry. I mean, Charlotte IS a championship caliber team that doesn’t need an All-Star/Future Hall of Famer to help them out there, right? Best to not spoil all that nice, winning team chemistry!     ^Teddy The Bear and Tarzan Cooper are both extremely on point today! But honestly, if Iverson comes, he will most likely serve as 20-30 minutes of scoring/mentoring DJ and whatever Shooting Guard we draft. He would also open the way for us to trade Raja, which would get us a lot in return, but might mess up chemistry. If we draft Earl Clark, it will be a clear indication Iverson is comming. If we draft Terrance Williams/Gerald Henderson/James Harden/Demar Derozan it will be a clear indication he is not. Simple as that, watch the draft and draw a conclusion from their.

    why do you people defend someone who’s made over a hundred million in his nba career? AI is a ballhog who shoots n shoots. Always on .500 teams because frankly he’s really not that good. Just because someone looks good shooting the ball doesn’t mean he’s a franchise player.

    * i’ve played with people like that in pickup games all the time, you kno..the guy who comes with baggy pants and a good handle, shoots more than 20 shots a game and makes less than half of them. The ONE guy who will make your whole team lose the game when erry one else is going for it.

What makes iverson so good again?? 30 points on 20 shots is horrible no matter how you put it. 10 assists in 48 minutes???     I wouldn’t go as far as saying AI is garbage but knock, knock does have a point. AI only excels when he is the only star on a team. When there are other stars on a team that team struggles because AI doesn’t know how share. When he was in Philly he took over 21 shots a game ’cause he was given the green light to do so but when he got to denver and detroit, he wanted to keep doing that when there was no need to. Yes, AI averaged 30 in Denver and how did that do for the Nuggets? He also averaged 27 in Detroit and how did that go for detroit?

    Im not hating, AI has always been one of my favs, but I really wish he would have become a pure point guard, hes too undersized to play the 2. He has a lot of heart but wont win a championship from the drivers seat.
