If his new coach and fellow NBAers are to believed, Gil is fully healthy, and Agent Zero’s comeback is off to a great start: “Runs at attack were pretty good today, gilbert arenas is back like he left his black card!”

    first!
    and hmmmmm

this could mean an 8th seed for the wiz, and a first round sweep by the cavs, wow, I can’t wait to hear wiznuts on this.

He’s healthy and hopefully now he can stay that way. Anyone answer: If Gilbert is now 100% healthy for the entire season, what seed will the Wizards be in the east? I’m saying the Cavs, Magic, and Celtics are still better.

  • http://claydefayette@yahoo.com CDef28

    And probably the Pistons.

”we don’t believe you, you need more peo-ple”

Wizards are the 6th seed playing the 3rd seed Magic and giving them a run for the money, but losing 4 games to 2. BOOK IT!!!

That was Iggy’s post on Twitter yesterday. Whatever, T-Mac and Arenas will average 30 this season. 30 physiotherapy sessions.

I don’t like betting on people who are well-known to be injury prone. For all I know, I could be saying “HE’S BACK!” to all my friends, then the next second he’s injured again.

I’m hopeful since this was Flip Saunders saying this and not Gil.

  • lakers4life

    t-mac is gilbert arenas’ idol

they will be back as good as ever…or not.

  • ARGH

I saw Gilbert talking to Michael Wilbon and Gil said he isn’t going to come back and just dominate the league like he used to, he will take it easy/start out slow…something along those lines. Is he truly dominant? Does he play defense?

  • tavoris

is Gil is healthy, then the Wiz are actually STACKED. Picking up Oberto means they now have a solid rotation of 9 deep, with 6 of those players being legit scorers (Arenas, Butler, Jamison, Miller, Foye, Young, and maybe Stevenson). Alot of what they do depends on the health of Gil, Butler, and Haywood-but they have potential of being ANYBODY if they are healthy (big IF)

Even if Arenas is healthy, management doesn’t believe so bringing in Miller and Foye.

  • Cmac

lets hope so. the man sure is entertaining. the NBA is better with him in it

  • tavoris

    dma…I’m confused by your comment.

For some reason people in Adidas cant stay healthy, best of luck to KG, T-mac, Tim Duncan, and Gil.

  • Fat Lever

I don’t think they meant, “HE’S BACK!”, I think they meant, “HIS BACK!”. I’m just playin, Gil’s one of my favorite players in the league, and I’m hoping he’s back to normal, tearing it up.

  • vmcb

Must be something in those Adidas shoes.

  • mj23

3 knee surgeries in 1 1/2 years. Those legs have been through a lot. i don’t know how long he’ll last.

  • Ken

What’s this 8th seed horsecrap? Even if Gil doesn’t come back 100%, the Wiz still have Jamison, Butler, Miller, Foye, Young, Stevenson, Oberto and McGee. There aren’t 7 teams in the East that are better than that. I think the Wiz will realistically end up anywhere between 4-6 in the East.

You’d think with the team’s name being “Wizards”, they could conjure up a way to keep everyone healthy for even one season.

  • Teddy-the-Bear

I thought it meant rave reviews for his revived blog… Guess it didn’t..

  • Josh D

Please can he have a comeback season this year

  • http://double-technical.blogspot.com Zee!

If he really is back, he’ll be a steal in later rounds of fantasy hoops.

  • Teddy-the-Bear

    Good luck Gil!

I am a wiznut, and I don’t see us above a 6 seed. We have no back to the basket player aside from Caron aka “tough juice” . Our Bigs (Haywood, Blatche, Javalee Mcgee) collectively weigh 311 pounds. I think Deshawn shot – 20 percent from the field last year. We have no mean tough power forward. All the top east teams stepped their game up, and we got FABRICIO OBERTO!!! Defensively, Antwan can’t hold 3′s or 4′s, Gilbert doesn’t even play D. Tough Juice has to match up with Joe Johnson, P squared, LBJ, DWade, he is going to be tired. Basically the Wiz had a good squad when the East was weak. We do not have a championship team yet.

Why does anyone mention Deshawn Stevenson in comments about the good players on the Wiz?

  • jdubbs29

I could comment on this but it would be like Jay-Z beefin’ with Soulja Boy.

  • luv2ball

lol @ rainman I was referring to his -20 shooting percentage. I would watch games ane wonder to myself “dude can you hit A jumper?” just one please

    Hibachi!

  • http://hibachi20.blogspot.com/ Moose

And this better be for real. I don’t want an ankle sprain after two games. Stop teasing us, Gil. Get on the court and play the ball we love to witness.
