Linas Kleiza May Be Bolting for Europe

Olympiakos (yes, them again) are reportedly about to scoop up the Nuggets forward: “Linas Kleiza is very close to signing a contract with Olympiacos despite his dream is to continue in NBA. The player confirmed the proposal made by the Greek team. ‘Olympiacos showed interest in me. I would like to stay in NBA, but if I have to go back to Europe, why not in Greece?’ said the forward.”

    Kleiza was pretty pivotal for the Nugs at certain times last year. I might miss him if he leaves the L.

    Yeah, really. This guy was solid, instant offense and had some adequate defense if he was feeling it and in his element, adding to Denver’s great chemistry. He’s been the Sasha Pavlovic to his team, before Sasha Pavlovich even had the idea to do it for LeBron in that Finals run year. And is also more durable since he didn’t just disappear along with Daniel “Boobie” Gibson like Sasha P did the last 2 years.

    Linas Kleiza is a legit NBA player. he should get a contract somewhere and continue to live his NBA dream. I like him and I hope he stays. Also: F*CK Olympianatinaikinaikinaikos and their hunt for headlines, but not actual players.
