It’s a one year deal, so I can’t see him not resigning for the MLE next summer after all they went through to try and get him.

i like this. did see a ton of pacers games last year but i did see the one’s against the C’s and marquis played well. the desire might not be as strong, but i think this year’s C’s team has more talent than the team that won it all. i’m hoping everyone stays healthy.

Great news, now if Boston could figure out a way to dump Scalabrine they’d have a solid bench.

Good grief Boston is loaded!! I’m talking about three hall of famers (is Ray Allen still there? I haven’t been keeping up with the trades and stuff) A growing pg (Rajan Rondo) some good guys coming off the bench along with Rasheed Wallace, they’re gonna be something else. Now you add Marquis who is a decent player once he gets hot, don’t know who’s gonna stop them in the East.

no, this is definately the most talented celtics squad. perkins is an all defensive calibre player despite what the pundits say, and a solid 11 and 11 guy. ray pierce and kg, if they stay healthy need no explanation and are a combination whos effectiveness is vouched for by a ring a piece. Rondo has shown again and agin, most recently in the most recent playoffs that he is extremely talented and is poised on adding his name into the improved boston big four, and having glen davis and sheed as backup big men gices us probably the best 4 big rotation in the league. all guys who on a good night could score 20, or in perks case a solid 16, 3 of which are excellent rebounders and defenders, and all of which, perkins less so than the others, can really stretch the d. danials is a big strong penetration guard, house is excellent in a spot up shooting capacity, scal is smart, and is useful fof 10 or so minutes to set a defensive tone and space the floor, tony allen is immature but provides slashing and athleticism and had his moments before his hand surgery last year.

no i think the celtics are ready to contend, but an injuyry could ruin it all. orlando la and san antionio are all nearly or equally talented and cleveland is close in terms of personell, so a spurt of bad luck coudl do it for any team.

but why do i care, im in indiana, go danny granger, mike dunleavy, tj ford, roy hibbert, and troy murphy, who needs old marquis

To Larry Bird… We definately need old Marquis!!! Like I said before as long as we stay healthy we will rule the whole league and get the banner #18! We are too much for other teams to handle us and Lakers!… Pay back is a real bioch!
