Big Baby Faces Suspension After Car Fight

The Celtics are taking disciplinary action after Glen Davis’s his role in this surreal situation (which resulted in a broken thumb for the big fella): “A shirtless Glen ‘Big Baby’ Davis and his “best friend” Shawn Bridgewater – a former teammate of the Celtics forward on the University High basketball team in Baton Rouge, La. – emerged bleeding from their noses after a fight inside a black SUV in Waltham Monday morning. The incident apparently fractured Davis’ right thumb just two days before tonight’s season opener against the Cleveland Cavaliers. Davis could be lost for an extended period of time. According to the police report obtained by the Herald, Davis claimed his allegedly drunken childhood pal was ‘continually bothering his girlfriend,’ Jenna Gomez.”

    Some question Glen should ask himself: 1) When was the last time he has seen his good friend before this trip? 2) What true friend would hit his friend’s girlfriend? 3) What friend would dis ( trip and hit) you after you have paid for his trip, lodging, food and night on the town? Answer: He’s no friend. Get over your childhood friend that are not in step with you.

    Dumb situation but who says the “childhood friend” hit the girlfriend, who said Davis paid for everything? He probably did but we don’t know. Again, dumb situation all around.
