Nellie on Trading S-Jax: ‘Harder Than Hell’

As everyone knows, trying to get someone to take Stephen Jackson (and his contract) off your hands is a very difficult task. Don Nelson, enjoying a scotch and a cigar, sheds a bit of light on the procedure: “We know Jack wants out, we’re trying to accommodate him. That’s not gonna help.  It’s harder than hell to trade that guy. He’s got his history; he’s got a long-term contract. We’re trying.”

    Houston could use his “on court” leadership.DON’T LAUGH. If houston took a chance on artest, why not capn jack? Plus dude can ball. Plus he is maybe a fan favorite because of his roots. GS could use an expiring contract for this summer.

    I really hope Don Nelson comes up 1 game short of being the All-time winningest coach in NBA history, by the time the season is up, and then gets fired during the off-season……..I seriously want to see that happen, seriously!!!

    Gym Rat, that was interesting, but it was an internal situation. I think their are certain things in a lockerroom/team cituation we shouldnt know about. That is one of them.

    Don Nelson brings bad luck everywhere he goes. If the Dubs had a good coach, they’d be right behind LA and Denver in the standings. They seriously got a squad that can ball.

    They should trade Nelson to the Albany Patroons for a bucket of used headbands and some CBA balls. He’s the worst coach in the NBA.

    How Jax to New Orleans for Peja? GS would have to throw in Speedy to make things work. It would be a great trade for the Hornets.
    GS would basically take on 2 yrs of Peja instead of 4 for Jax. They could buy him out and let him re-sign with a contender.

    Then WHY have SIGNED him to this HUGE fifteen year CONTRACT !? That’s nonsense!
    GMs don’t get fired enough!
    The warriors GM, but also Danny Ferry (signing Vareajao!) and Dumars (Darko, Iverson) among others should just NOT have a job anymore!
