    Wizards, Cavs to Resume ‘Rivalry’

Well, it’s a rivalry to some. For others, not so much: “Remember when LeBron James said there was no rivalry between the Wizards and the Cavaliers? DeShawn Stevenson was asked about that comment Monday afternoon, on the eve of the rivalry’s first 2009-2010 incarnation. ‘He’s the Golden Child, he’s gonna say that,’ Stevenson said. ‘He has a lot of stuff to lose. I don’t. I don’t care.”‘

I love these types of Rivelries. We need more of these 90’s types of Rivelries. And to the Idiots who are gonna say Well The Wiz Never beat the Cavs when it Matters - Remember New York Never Beat Mike when it Mattered and we still considered that a great Rivelry

Since when does a bench player on a team decide when their is a rivalry. I don’t think any cavalier has ever put down any wizard. When agent zero and bron throw punches or both score 50 in a double ot game, more than once, then it will be a rivalry

A few years ago, yes this was a rivalry. But the Wiz-Cavs haven’t even crossed my mind like the Cavs-Celts and Cav-Magic have. Some rivals never die, but this one sure has. Seems like the Wiz want to bring it back to life.

“I really don’t go out when I’m in Cleveland no more. I just stay in my room,” he said. “Ain’t nothing to do in Cleveland. Have you been there?” I pointed out that there’s a lake. “I don’t do lakes,” he said. –the great one, deshawn stevenson

thanks, nba fans, for voting for the nation to see the lakers and the thunder on nbatv instead of this game. effin laker fans.

This is going to be a GREAT game, no doubt. This was a classic rivalry until Agent Zero got hurt 2 years ago. If Lebron got hurt for 2 straight seasons, the Wiz would have rolled the Cavs, so its not really fair to say its one sided. I see the Cavs winning a close one -the Wiz just don’t have an answer for Mr. Crab Dribble. But I hope I’m wrong.

    • tavoris Posted: Nov.3 at 2:26 pm
is this a rivalry with Jamison and Butler hurt?

    • Moose Posted: Nov.3 at 2:35 pm
That Jacqueline Mitchell is a smart one.

    • Seth Posted: Nov.3 at 3:22 pm
Even though it’s not a true rivalry, I like to regard it as one just for this decade. Each time they face off I anticipate some kind of drama. It makes watching the game a little more fun.

    • boogster Posted: Nov.3 at 3:30 pm
rivalry or not when cavs were beating the every team on their way last season, only Wizards stoop up and beat them, made it much more interesting.
besides i think deshawn wouldn`t have uttered a single word if he wasn`t asked about it.

    • Cizzo Posted: Nov.3 at 4:06 pm
I LOVE the fact that the Wiz are’nt scared of the Cavs. As matter of fact why?

    • tavoris Posted: Nov.3 at 5:19 pm
Deshawn is getting 4 points per game in 19 minutes. Why is his opinion relevant?

The only rivalry is for facial hair supremecy. DeShawn’s all over that.

    • rog123 Posted: Nov.3 at 7:23 pm
      Agree with tavoris 100%

    • washington wiz ..in my pants Posted: Nov.3 at 8:34 pm
washington is a bunch of punk thugs. Boston is the same, but at least they are good. The NBA has fast become a league full of streetballin’ trashtalkers, and its al least nice to none of them are cavaliers.( I don’t count Shaq).seriously, stevenson always blabin’, garnett always f-bombin down the court + pounding his chest, etc. Lebron might not be the best of role models, but he plays with class 99% of the time.

    • tavoris Posted: Nov.3 at 9:23 pm
um sayin…he’s probably the 8th man on the Wiz right now-even with Butler hurt.

    • Shem Posted: Nov.3 at 11:39 pm
The only thing deshawn can do better then lebron is grow more lice in his beard.

    • la huey Posted: Nov.4 at 12:16 am
“streetballin’ trashtalkers” yeah, i hear you, dude. remember back in the day when larry, mike, gp, reggie miller used to roam the courts? those guys were classy. you can’t find clips of them talking trash or throwing their fists. and they had to walk 20 miles through the snow (with no shoes) just to get to the stadium….

    • Anton Posted: Nov.4 at 1:43 am
Hey Gilbert! What do you think of the rivalry?
Gil: *don’t care for life look on his face*

    • Hoodsnake Posted: Nov.4 at 6:45 am
Translation: ‘Its the highlight of the season for me cos they show me on tv a lot like i’m gonna storm off the bench and start something controversial’
